Now fashion allows you to use ANY FABRIC VOICE for sewing a pencil skirt. It can be lace (black skirt photo below)… it can be finely pleated fabric (purple pencil skirt)… or even quilted fabric (high-waisted skirt photo below).

Also, designers often complicate the pencil skirt additional elements of cut... it can be a peplum, frill, tucks, complex pleats-patches (pictured below) or wide bows (black skirt below).

What to wear with a BEIGE PENCIL SKIRT.

Delicate pastel image of purity will create a BEIGE pencil skirt in your wardrobe if you also choose the upper part of the set in light fresh colors. We see that a wide tunic needs to be THREADED into a pencil skirt with its FRONT SIDE. And the back side of the tunic in length should be in harmony with the length of the skirt - at best, no longer than the bottom line of the buttocks.

You can completely tuck the tunic into the skirt (as in the photo below).

And by the way, about DECOLTE it is important to say that the pencil skirt really DOES NOT LIKE deep necklines on the chest (it immediately looks vulgar). If your hips are covered, then the neckline is already too much. But if you really want a deep neckline that exposes the flesh, then let it be BACK (as in the left photo below).

WHERE TO WEAR A BLUE pencil skirt.

Blue color goes well with beige ... with shades brown. It is good to wear blue under cold shades of light pink and lemon yellow. emerald green or light turquoise also goes well with a blue pencil skirt.

Teamed with a white top, a blue pencil skirt creates a fresh and dressy look. And blue with black is already a heavier combination (but very popular because of its practicality and non-staining). HOW TO WEAR A PRINT PENCIL SKIRT.

Drawing (print) on a pencil skirt is always beautiful. Such a colored skirt becomes the central spot of the whole composition - therefore, paired with a multi-colored skirt, you need SOLID top ONLY(that is, one color) - any color that is present in the print on the skirt.

Here in the photo below we see a black knitted tunic paired with a pencil skirt, on which black is present.
Pale colors on a pencil skirt require the same calm muted color. for a blouse or shirt.

Juicy contrasting colors on a pencil skirt should be supported by the same BRIGHT colors on the top part of the outfit (as we see in the example with a pencil skirt with red flowers).

LEOPARD PRINT on pencil skirt.

Classic leopard print(brown-beige warm shades like on the skin of a leopard) require either black or white. Although, with the saturation of colors of leo-specks, a red top is acceptable.

Leopard print on the skirt can be done in a different color palette. And then the selection of the color of clothing depends on the shade of the leopard color.

SCOTTY CHECK and pencil skirt.

Scottish plaid skirt requires or shirts, or a simple cut top(that is, without ruffles and flounces). The cubic shape of the cells, requires the same straight lines in the cut top or blouse. WHAT TO WEAR WITH

To get started, here are two examples of how elegantly and casually you can introduce a sparkling pencil skirt into everyday wardrobe. With a simple black top, such a skirt would be lost - but with the addition of a bow-shaped leather belt, everything balances out.

Likewise, a simple black-and-white checkered shirt gives a sparkly look just the right amount of casual calm, and jewelry in the open collar of the shirt adds sophistication to a deliberately simple top…and a thin strap adds austerity and detracts from the sequins.

Black + white is a classic. The pencil skirt is also a classic. We usually use a black skirt and a white blouse. But the same black and white image can be created in a more interesting way.

This season, lace stubbornly holds a leading position. Lace fabric has already ceased to be used only in the decoration of festive dresses. Now lace is everyday wear for walking and office. Even the strictest dress code will not object to lace if it is used when sewing a business pencil skirt.

In the photo below, we see that a lace pencil skirt can be worn with a thin knitted jumper made of angora or cotton.

You can also refuel in such a lace pencil skirt tunic with a straight wide cut.

Can also be worn over a pencil skirt wear a layered top with a shirt and a thin sweater- and leave all layers in a loose overlap on the skirt.

With wide knitted sweater voluminous cut, such a lace pencil skirt is also appropriate and looks good. Volume the sweater can be the same color as the skirt or be lighter than it. Most importantly, it should not be darker. That combination of a light skirt with lace and a dark sweater would have looked hard. But black lace and a light voluminous sweater are already a more balanced set of clothes.

Also, lace together with a pencil skirt looks even if it is not present on the skirt, but on a top or tunic tucked into a skirt.

PENCIL SKIRT how to wear WITH A TOP.

Straight fit pencil skirt requires a straight cut top. This is the most profitable option.

But flounces, peplums, ruffles and draperies ALSO look absolutely great with the straight strictness of the skirt. They immediately soften the image, thin the silhouette and make the set of clothes more elegant and less strict and office.

Soft folds of chiffon fabrics and warm reflections of silky gloss look beautiful.

Well, it's quite a classic. A blouse under a pencil skirt can be short-sleeved or not at all. It can have ruffles, tucks, bows and flounces. And in this case, jewelry should be absent or be the simplest in design.

Blue (dark blue, ultramarine) knee-length or lower skirts will become universal assistants in creating a business or informal outfit. It is better to wear them to work with a light, gray, blue top plus beige pumps. But in everyday life, bodily shoes can be replaced with yellow, green, red, mint.

A nautical style set can be created using a dark blue bottom and a knitted top (t-shirt, top, turtleneck) with a red (black) stripe. In cool weather, drape a sweater or cardigan over your shoulders.

The blue item is perfect for summer, especially when paired with a denim shirt or pastel blouse.

Red, Burgundy, Pink

Pastel pink (powder, cream) in a business suit looks good with a blue, mint, white, ink blouse.

Gray tones from light (pearl, dusty) to saturated graphite are basic in any outfit. Use it as a base for creating simple or complex color combinations.

Green

A pencil skirt in green and its shades (dark, khaki, olive, emerald, mint, pistachio) is original and looks interesting in pairs with other colors.

Such high skirts fit right under the bust - revealing only the top of the blouse. The decoration may be absent or be short, that is, placed at the very throat and not hang down.
