After installing the application, you will need to log in, after which you can comfortably surf your favorite sites again.

If this option does not suit you, then transfer your photos and videos to your computer. And from it you can already transfer images to a new smartphone - it won't be a big deal.

By the way, if all the photos are on the memory card, then all that remains is to rearrange it - they should not be copied anywhere.

The sad thing is that you can only use Google Music for free for one to three months. Also this service does not work with formats FLAC and ALAC... Therefore, it is easier to transfer all the music to your computer or memory card.

Universal software

Transfer from iPhone

You can transfer contacts from iPhone to Android device via Gmail. You must first configure Gmail on your iOS smartphone and enable contact sync in your email settings. Then you need to turn off syncing to iCloud without deleting the list of numbers on your device. In a standard account, you need to set Gmail as the default account. After that, the files from the iPhone will be synchronized with the Google mail service. If the mailbox already contained phonebook entries, the numbers can be duplicated.

Transfer from Samsung

If the user is interested in how to transfer SMS from Samsung, then the Samsung Smart Switch application is used for this. The function allows you to move contacts, music, photos, calendars, messages, settings and other types of data. You can share files with Android or iOS devices. The fastest and easiest way to transfer (export, import) Nokia contacts is to use a SIM card. For this method, the user does not need to install additional programs. To transfer contacts from Nokia, you need to do the following:

  • select all the necessary numbers;
  • select the option "Move to SIM-card";
  • turn off your Nokia phone, remove the card and move it to your Android smartphone.

The disadvantage of this method is that the number of numbers is limited by the size of the SIM card. If you cannot transfer all the numbers the first time, then you can do it in 2 passes.

To transfer applications to a memory card installed in a smartphone of the Xiaomi brand, the user will need a third-party program, since the standard function of transferring data in devices of this brand is not provided. If you need to transfer applications to a USB flash drive, it is best to use the Clean Master utility, which is designed to clean up unnecessary files. After launching it, select "Application Manager", check the boxes for copying applications to SD and press the "Move" button.

On computer

  • open the application for calls;
  • hold down the "Menu" button until the settings appear;
  • select the item "Import and Export";
  • click on "Export to memory", after which the message "The list of contacts will be exported to a file" should appear;
  • confirm the action with the OK button;
  • after the completion of the export, a corresponding notification should appear;
  • if everything was done correctly, the file 00001.vcf will appear in the root directory of the smartphone.

After completing the above steps, you can transfer contacts from the phone memory to your computer by copying the created file.

Moving from one device to another

For those wishing to move contacts from smartphone to smartphone in previous Xiaomi Redmi firmware, it was possible to do this by transferring data via Bluetooth. However, later the Chinese removed this function, apparently considering that there was no longer a need for it. But you should not be upset about this, since an application downloaded from the Internet can also transfer contacts. For example, the Xperia Transfer Mobile software copes well with this task. Despite the name, it can be used not only on Sony devices. The program works on any Android device, there is also support for iOS.

The advantage of the application is the fact that not only contacts are transferred to another device, but also various content - photos, music, videos, applications, etc. The smartphone is in direct contact with the smartphone thanks to the Wi-Fi Direct connection.

QR code application

If you download a special application to your smartphone, you can generate a QR code. This method is not easy, so it is not used very often. After the device scans the encrypted code, it starts downloading contacts. You can complete the procedure using the QR Droid Code Scanner program available on Google Play. Not only on Xiaomi, the import of contacts can be carried out in this way, any smartphone based on Android is at your service. To prepare a QR code containing contacts, go to the "Import and Export" item to access the "Send" function. Encryption into code is performed after clicking on "Send contact as ...". Everything, it's done, nothing complicated.

Using a CSV file to transfer contacts

It is very easy to transfer contacts using a CSV file. An application from Google Play will help to generate such a file. We can recommend the My Contacts Backup program. It can be installed on devices with Android and iOS, thanks to which the saved numbers can be easily transferred, for example, from iPhone to Xiaomi. The created file is sent to the mail, from where it is downloaded to a new device, where the contacts are saved.

Cloud technology help

The advantages of this method are obvious, but nevertheless it is rarely used. People are less likely to trust everything about the internet for fear of identity theft. First, you need to copy all contacts to or Google, then upload them to the cloud, from where they can be easily downloaded to a new device. The cloud can be linked to multiple devices, allowing you to use your contacts on your tablet, smartphone or computer. If from Xiaomi the transfer of contacts goes to iOS, then nothing will work in the case of use. The platform must be compatible with a specific cloud. Other services are also suitable - Yandex Disk, DropBox and others, the above procedure is applicable to them.

Conclusion

You cannot do without the procedure for transferring contacts if you do not want to re-enter all the data into a new device. As you can see, there is nothing complicated in the rules described today. Guided by them, you can significantly save yourself time.

The exchange of data between smartphones is a frequent task for their users. And tagged files are no exception. Sometimes the risk of losing them is no less than the loss of important contact. Therefore, Xiaomi smartphone users often began to wonder how to save their notes on another phone. Let's look at several ways to accomplish this.

How to transfer notes from Xiaomi using Bluetooth

When you need to copy records to a gadget with the same operating system, then use the "Transfer", working on Bluetooth.

1. In the "Settings" find "Others" (Optional) and then in "Transfer"

2. Indicate who will be the “Sender” and who will be the “Recipient”.

4. Start the transfer.

Transfer notes via Mi Mover app

Xiaomi with more modern firmware has the Mi Mover function. It works between brothers on MIUI and the principle of operation is tied to the formation of a QR code. The transmission is done via a Wi-Fi wireless network. The manufacturer added the ability to move information on a schedule, i.e. now the sender can transfer data to another gadget at the same time using a QR code.

How to use it correctly:

1. Find the application ("Settings" - "System and device" - item "Advanced").

2. Designate the statuses to the pairing participants.

3. The addressee will see the QR code on his display and read it through the second device.

How to select files to copy:

1. Entering MI - Mover, you need to press the lower button under the screen with three horizontal stripes.

2. In the opened "Backup", if desired, set the time and date for moving the records, and then define the folders to send.

How to transfer notes via Mi Cloud

There is another most versatile way to transfer notes from Xiaomi. They are copied to the Mi account through synchronization. To use it you need:

1. In “Settings” select “System applications” and MI-Cloud.

2. If the function has not been used before, then you will need to click "Use" and enter the login and password for your account.

Hello dear friends!

Many users are wondering how to quickly and painlessly transfer contacts to Xiaomi Redmi 4. They often complain that they do not understand how to do this at all. Like, everything is too complicated, you need to be a specialist who is well versed in smartphones and so on.

In fact, there is nothing complicated in the procedure for transferring contacts, and now we will show you this with a specific example.

This instruction is suitable for the following situations:

  • Your Google account does not have contacts to sync with your phone
  • Your Mi Account does not have contacts to sync with your phone
  • You have an address book file in .vcf format

Unfortunately, almost a year ago, Xiaomi software developers abandoned a convenient method that allowed them to “feed” the phone a file with contacts via bluetooth. As a reminder, almost immediately after the release of Redmi 3, this convenient option was removed in many firmwares. So today, alas, in all Xiaomi firmware there is an option for transferring and automatically detecting contacts via bluetooth missing!

Well, now let's move on, in fact, to the procedure for transferring contacts to Xiaomi Redmi 4, which the developers left us. The method is not the most convenient, but quite viable.

We warn you in advance - all contacts, photos, phone numbers and emails used in our example are fictitious! 🙂

All screenshots in the article are clickable (increase when clicked).

The whole procedure was carried out on a smartphone running MIUIGlobal8.1 (Stable 8.1.8.0 MCEMIDI) based on Android 6.0.1 MMB29M.

Suppose that you do not have the ability to sync contacts on your smartphone with your Google account and / or with your Mi Account. But at the same time, you have an address book file in the .vcf format on your computer (or other phone)

The algorithm of actions is very simple: in any way convenient for you, we copy the file with contacts to the Xioami Redmi 4 smartphone. Next, go to SettingsSystem ApplicationsContacts.

If you have a completely new smartphone or the settings on it have been reset to factory settings, then you do not need to perform any additional actions on it. But in the case when there are already any contacts on the smartphone, just in case it is better to save them in a separate file, in order to avoid any conflicts with contacts from the imported .vcf file. The most common problem is the absence or displacement of fields in the contact card, or the disappearance of the contact photo. The first one often happens if the .vcf file was saved on some ancient device or unsuccessfully processed in the address book of the Google account. And the second happens all the time and we have not found a reasonable intelligible explanation. Even if the contacts had small photos, very often they disappear upon import. 🙁

So, we went to the menu Contacts... We press (or as it is now fashionable to say - we tap) on Import and export and choose Import from storage. A pop-up window opens File selectionvCard where we should choose one of three options:

  • Import 1 vCard file
  • Importing multiple vCards
  • Import all vCards

In our case, we must choose the first option - Import 1 vCard file. The phone automatically finds all previously saved contact files and invites us to choose one of them (most often the most recent by date). If the file was uploaded to Google Drive, then its name will be long. If the file was saved on the phone, the name will be short. However, a third option is also possible, when the user himself renamed the file with contacts.

Select the file we need and press the OK button. A laconic notification appears that the file will be imported soon. At the same time, you will not be able to see the progress of the operation anywhere, since the developers decided not to embed the status bar here. If your file has a small number of contacts, then literally after 30 seconds you can safely click on the Contacts icon on your desktop and see what you have done. If there are more than a hundred contacts, then it is recommended to wait a little.

In our case, the procedure was successful. However, some contacts were imported for the first time without pictures at all. Therefore, we assigned a picture to each contact and now, right on the Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone, we once again saved all contacts to a .vcf file.

Then they deleted all contacts from the address book. SettingsSystem ApplicationsContactsAdditionallyBatch delete contactsDelete all contactsOK... We made sure that there are no more records left in the Contacts application. Then we started the procedure for transferring (importing) contacts again, selecting the most recent file from the list suggested by the import wizard. This time the procedure went well, but contacts never got full-size photos. Instead, only small oval photographs were saved in the general list of contacts and in the card of each contact. However, if you have 10-20 contacts in your address book with the photos assigned to them, then you can return them to their original appearance in 5-7 minutes by dropping all the photos into one of the folders on the smartphone in advance and selecting the desired photo by clicking on the oval avatar in each contact card. But if you have more than 50 such contacts, we can only sympathize with you ...

The final logical step after checking each contact on a smartphone is to start synchronizing contacts with a Google account. After that, you can automatically pick up all your contacts on any Android smartphone.
