Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.
My judges tremble, for they have committed guilt with all: look with your eyes, hear with your ears, speak with an evil tongue, commit hell to yourself; my sinful soul, did you desire this?

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. First of all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and my sin before me is taken out. I have sinned against you alone and done evil before you; as if you were justified in your words, and conquered the judgment of Ty. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and in sins give birth to me, my mother. Behold, thou hast loved the truth; the unknown and secret wisdom of Thy revealed to me. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Give joy and joy to my hearing; the bones of the humble shall rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Restore to the world the joy of Your salvation and confirm me with the Sovereign Spirit. I will teach the wicked in Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from blood, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue shall rejoice in thy righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will proclaim your praise. As if you would have desired sacrifices, you would have given them: you do not favor burnt offerings. Sacrifice to God the spirit is broken; a contrite and humble heart God will not despise. Please, O Lord, with Thy favor Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, an offering and a burnt offering; then they will lay calves on your altar.

Holy Angel of Christ, I pray to you, my holy guardian, given to me to keep my sinful soul and body from holy baptism, but with my laziness and my evil habit, I angered your most pure lordship and drove you away from me with all studish deeds: lies, slander , envy, condemnation, contempt, disobedience, fraternal hatred, and malice, love of money, adultery, rage, stinginess, gluttony without satiety and drunkenness, verbosity, evil thoughts and crafty, proud custom and prodigal rage, having self-desire for all carnal lust. Oh, my evil will, even the beasts of speechlessness do not create it! But how can you look at me, or come to me, like a stinking dog? Whose eyes, angel of Christ, look at me, entwined with evil in vile deeds? Yes, how can I ask forgiveness for my bitter and evil and crafty deed, I fall into it all day and night and at every hour? But I pray, falling down, my holy guardian, have mercy on me, your sinful and unworthy servant (name), be my helper and intercessor for the evil of my opponent, with your holy prayers, and make the Kingdom of God a partaker of me with all the saints, always, and now and forever and ever. The earth is the Lord's, and the fulfillment of it, the world, and all who dwell in it. He founded me on the seas, and prepared me to eat on the rivers. Who will ascend the mountain of the Lord? Or who will stand in His holy place? Innocent hands and pure in heart, who do not accept their soul in vain, and do not swear by their sincere flattery. This one will receive a blessing from the Lord, and alms from God, his Savior. This is the generation of those who seek the Lord, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Lift up your gates, your princes, and lift up your eternal gates; and the King of Glory will enter. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord is mighty and mighty, the Lord is mighty in battle. Lift up your gates, your princes, and lift up your eternal gates, and the King of Glory will enter. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of Glory.

Psalm 115:
Verovah, the same exclaimed, but I humbled myself very much. But I rech in my rage: every man is a lie. What will I repay the Lord for all that I repay? I will take the cup of salvation, and I will call on the name of the Lord, I will give my prayers to the Lord before all His people. Honorable before the Lord is the death of His saints. O Lord, I am Your servant, I am Your servant and the son of Your handmaid; thou hast torn my bonds. I will devour thee a sacrifice of praise, and in the name of the Lord I will call. I will give my prayers to the Lord before all His people, in the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of you, Jerusalem.
Glory, and now: Alleluia (three times with three bows).

Troparion, tone 8:
Despise my iniquities, Lord, be born of the Virgin, and cleanse my heart, creating a temple to Your most pure Body and Blood, lower me from Your face, having great mercy without number.
Glory: In communion with Your holy things, how dare I, unworthy? Asha, I dare to approach You with the worthy, the tunic convicts me, as if there is an evening one, and I intercede for condemnation of my many-sinful soul. Cleanse, O Lord, the defilement of my soul, and save me, like a Lover of mankind.
And now: Many of my many, Mother of God, sins, I have resorted to You, Pure, demanding salvation: visit my infirm soul, and pray to Your Son and our God, give me remission, even the fierce fellows, One blessed.
(On Holy Forty Day:
When the glorious disciple at the ablution of the supper is enlightened, then Judas, the wicked with the love of money, having become darkened, and betrays the righteous Judge to the lawless judges. See, the property of the zealot, who used the strangulation for this sake: run the unsatisfied soul, the Teacher is so daring. Who is the good Lord of all, glory to Thee.)

Psalm 50:
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Wash me most of all from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and my sin before me is taken out. I have sinned against you alone and done evil before you; as if you were justified in your words, and conquered when you judge Ty. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and in sins give birth to me, my mother. Behold, thou hast loved the truth; the unknown and secret wisdom of Thy revealed to me. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Give joy and joy to my hearing; the bones of the humble will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Give me the joy of Your salvation and confirm me with the Sovereign Spirit. I will teach the wicked in Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from blood, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue rejoices in thy righteousness. Then be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, an offering and a burnt offering; then they will offer bullocks on your altar.

Canon, Tone 2, Canto 1:
Irmos: Come people, let us sing a song to Christ God, who parted the sea, and who instructed the people, even having brought them out of the work of Egypt, as if glorified.

The bread of the belly of the eternal be to me Thy Holy Body, merciful Lord, and Honest Blood, and the ailment of manifold healing.

Defiled by the deeds of the unplaced, the accursed one, I am not worthy of Your Most Pure Body and Divine Blood, Christ, communion, whom you vouchsafe me.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
Good earth, blessed God's Bride, vegetative unwounded class and saving the world, vouchsafe me this eater to be saved.

Canto 3

Irmos: Having established me on the rock of faith, you have expanded my mouth against my enemies. Rejoice, for my spirit, whenever I sing: there is nothing holy, like our God, and there is nothing more righteous than You, Lord.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
Give me tears, O Christ, drops, the filth of my cleansing heart: as if cleansed by a good conscience, I come by faith and fear, Lord, to partake of Your Divine Gifts.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
For the remission of my transgressions, Thy Most Pure Body, and the Divine Blood, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life, Lover of mankind, and alienation of passions and sorrows.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
Animal Bread The Most Holy Meal, above mercy for the sake of the one who descended, and give the world a new belly to the one who gives, and now vouchsafe me the unworthy, with fear to taste this, and I live to be.

Canto 4

Irmos: You came from the Virgin, not an intercessor, not an Angel, but Himself, Lord, incarnate, and saving all of me man. Thus I call to Thee: glory to Thy power, Lord.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
Thou hast desired, for the sake of incarnation, O Many-Merciful One, slain to be like a sheep, a sin for the sake of men: the same I pray to Thee, and cleanse my sins.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Heal the wounds of my soul, Lord, and sanctify everything: and vouchsafe, Master, that I may partake of Thy mystical Divine Supper, accursed one.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
Have mercy on me who is from Thy womb, O Lady, and keep me undefiled, Thy servant and immaculate, as if I were to receive smart beads, I will be sanctified.

Canto 5

Irmos: Giver of Light and Creator of the ages, Lord, guide us in the light of Your commandments; unless we know no other god to you.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
As thou hast prophesied, O Christ, let it be done unto thy wicked servant, and abide in me, as thou hast promised: behold thy body is divine, and I drink thy blood.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Word of God and God, let the coal of Your Body be to me darkened into enlightenment, and the cleansing of my defiled soul, Your Blood.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
Mary, Mother of God, fragrance of an honest village, make me a chosen vessel with your prayers, as if I would partake of Your Son of consecration.

Canto 6

Irmos: Lying in the sinful abyss, I call upon the abyss that is not traced by Your mercy: from aphids, O God, raise me up.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
Sanctify my mind, soul and heart, O Savior, and my body, and vouchsafe, O Master, without condemnation, to proceed to the terrible Mysteries.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
So that he would be removed from the passions, and Your grace would have an application, the stomach would be affirmed, the communion of the Saints, Christ, Your Mysteries.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
God, God, Holy Word, sanctify all of me, now coming to Your Divine Mysteries, Your Holy Mother with prayers.
Kontakion, voice 2:
Bread, Christ, take do not despise me, Thy Body, and now Thy Divine Blood, the most pure, Master, and Thy terrible Mysteries partake of the accursed, may it not be with me in court, may it be with us in the life eternal and immortal.

Canto 7

Irmos: The wise children did not serve the golden body, and they themselves went into the flames, and cursed their gods, crying out in the flames, and I irrigate the Angel: your prayer has already been heard.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
The source of the good, communion, Christ, of Your now immortal Sacraments, may there be light, and a belly, and passionlessness, and for the advancement and increase of the virtue of the Divine intercession, only Blessed, as if I glorify Thee.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Let me get rid of passions, and enemies, and need, and all sorrow, with trembling and love with reverence, Lover of mankind, now approach Your immortal and Divine Mysteries, and vouchsafe You to sing: blessed be Thou, Lord, God of our fathers.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
Savior of Christ, who gave birth to more than the mind, God-grace, I pray to Thee now, Thy servant, Pure unclean: whoever wants me now to proceed to the most pure Mysteries, cleanse everything from the filth of the flesh and spirit.

Canto 8

Irmos: In the fiery furnace to the Jewish youth who descended, and the flame into the dew of God, sing the deeds of the Lord, and exalt forever.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
Heavenly, and terrible, and Thy saints, Christ, now the Mysteries, and Thy Divine and Last Supper of a companion to be and me desperate, God, my Savior.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Benevolence has come running under Yours, Blessed, with fear I call Thee: abide in me, Savior, and I, as you said, in You; Behold, daring to Thy mercy, I pit Thy Body, and I drink Thy Blood.
Holy Trinity, our God, glory to Thee.
I tremble, accepting the fire, lest I be scorched like wax and like grass; ole terrible mystery! ole goodness of God! What kind of Divine Body and Blood do I partake of, and I am created imperishable?

Canto 9

Irmos: The Son, God and Lord, the Parent is without beginning, having incarnated from the Virgin, appearing to us, clouded by enlightenment, gathering dispersed: we magnify the all-singing Mother of God.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb.
Christ is, taste and see: the Lord for us, for us of old, brought to Himself alone, as an offering to His Father, He is forever slain, sanctifying those who partake.
Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
May I be sanctified with soul and body, Master, may I be enlightened, may I be saved, may I be Your house a communion of the sacred Mysteries, having You living in yourself with the Father and the Spirit, the Benefactor of Many Mercy.
Give me the joy of Your salvation, and confirm me with the Sovereign Spirit.
Like fire, let it be mine, and like light, Your Body and Blood, my Savior, most honorable, scorching the sinful substance, burning the passions of thorns, and enlightening me all, bow down to Your Divinity.
Holy Mother of God, save us.
God became incarnate from Your pure blood; the same, every generation sings to Thee, the Mistress, but the intelligent multitudes glorify, as if by Thee they have seen the Ruler of all, who has been realized by mankind.

Worth eating...
Trisagion. Holy Trinity...
Our Father...

Troparion of the day or holiday. If it's a week, the Sunday troparion is in tone. If not, real troparia, tone 6:
Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us; bewildering any answer, this prayer, as the Lord, we bring sins: have mercy on us.
Glory: Lord, have mercy on us, we put our trust in Thee; do not be angry with us, remember our iniquities below, but look now as if you are merciful, and deliver us from our enemies. Thou art our God, and we are Thy people, all works by Thy hand, and we call on Thy name.
And now: Open the doors of Mercy to us, blessed Mother of God, hoping in Thee, let us not perish, but let us be delivered from troubles by Thee: Thou art the salvation of the Christian race.
Lord, have mercy (40 times and bows as much as you like).

And the verses:
Although eat, man, the Body of the Lord,
Approach with fear, but do not sing: there is fire.
Drinking the Divine Blood for fellowship,
First, reconcile thee to those who grieve.
The same daring, mysterious brashno yazhd.
Before the sacrament of the terrible sacrifice,
Life-Giving Body Lord,
Sim pray in an image with trembling:

Prayer 1, Basil the Great:
Master Lord Jesus Christ, our God, the Source of life and immortality, of all creatures, visible and invisible to the Creator, of the beginningless Father co-eternal with the Son and co-originating, for the sake of goodness in the last days, clothed in the flesh, and crucified, and buried for us, ungrateful and evil-minded, and Yours Renewing our nature corrupted by sin with blood, Himself, the Immortal King, accept my sinful repentance, and incline Your ear to me, and hear my words. I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned against heaven and before You, and I am not worthy to look at the height of Your glory: I have angered Your goodness, transgressing Your commandments, and not listening to Your commands. But You, Lord, who are not malice, long-suffering and many-merciful, did not betray me to perish with my iniquities, expecting my conversion in every possible way. You said, O Lover of mankind, your prophet: as if by desire I do not want the death of a sinner, but I will turn and live to be him. Do not wish, O Master, to destroy your creation by Your hand; below, you will favor the destruction of mankind, but you wish to be saved by everyone, and come to the understanding of truth. The same and az, if I am unworthy of heaven and earth, and sowing temporary life, obeying sin all to myself, and enslaving with sweetness, and desecrating Your image; but having been Your creation and creation, I do not despair of my salvation, accursed, daring to Your immeasurable goodness, I come. Accept me, O Lord of mankind, like a harlot, like a thief, like a publican and like a prodigal, and take my heavy burden of sins, take the sin of the world, and heal human infirmities, call and give rest to those who are laboring and burdened to You, who did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. And cleanse me from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and teach me to perfect the sanctity in Your fear: as if by the pure knowledge of my conscience, I receive a part of Your holy things, I am united to Your holy Body and Blood, and I have You living and abiding in me, with the Father, and your Holy Spirit. Yes, Lord Jesus Christ, my God, and let the communion of Your most pure and life-giving Mysteries not be in court, let me be weak in soul and body, from which I am unworthy to partake, but give me, even to my final breath, uncondemnedly perceive part of Thy holy things, in the Holy Spirit communion, in the guidance of the eternal belly, and in a favorable answer to Thy terrible judgement: as if with all Thy chosen ones, I will be a sharer of Thy incorruptible blessings, even if You have prepared for those who love Thee, Lord, in them Thou hast been glorified in eyelids. Amen.

Prayer 2, St. John Chrysostom:
Lord, my God, we know that I am worthy, I am satisfied below, but under the roof of the temple of my soul, I’m all empty and eaten, and don’t have a place in me worthy to bow my head: but for the sake of us from the height you humbled yourself, humble yourself and now my humility; and as if you took it in the den and in the manger of the wordless near, take it and in the manger of my wordless soul, and enter into my defiled body. And as if you did not deign to enter, and candles from sinners in the house of Simon the leper, so deign to enter into the house of my humble soul, lepers and sinners; and as if you did not reject a harlot and a sinner like me, who came and touched You, have mercy on me, a sinner, who comes and touches You; and as if you did not disdain her filthy lips and unclean ones that kiss Thee, below my filthy lips and unclean ones, below my vile and unclean lips, and my filthy and uncleanest tongue. But may the coal of Your most holy Body, and Your precious Blood, be mine, for the sanctification and enlightenment and health of my humble soul and body, for the relief of the burden of many of my sins, for observance from every devilish action, for the repulsion and prohibition of my evil and crafty custom, into the mortification of passions, into the provision of Thy commandments, into the application of Thy Divine grace, and appropriation of Thy Kingdom. Not as if I despise I come to You, Christ God, but as if daring for Your inexpressible goodness, and may I not move away from Your fellowship, I will be hunted by the mental wolf. The same I pray to You: as the only Holy One, Lord, sanctify my soul and body, mind and heart, wombs and wombs, and renew all of me, and root Your fear in my hands, and create Your sanctification inseparably from me; and be my helper and intercessor, nourishing my belly in the world, vouchsafe to me and at your right hand to stand with your saints, prayers and supplications to your Most Pure Mother, your immaterial servants and pure powers, and all the saints who have pleased you from time immemorial. Amen.

The only pure and incorruptible Lord, for the inexpressible mercy of philanthropy, our all perceptible mixture, from pure and virgin blood more than nature, who gave birth to Thee, the Divine Spirit by the invasion, and the good pleasure of the Father, the eternal, Christ Jesus, the wisdom of God, and peace, and strength; By your perception, life-giving and saving suffering perceived, cross, nail, spear, death, kill my soulful bodily passions. By your burial of the hellish captivating kingdom, bury my good thoughts with crafty advice, and deceive the evil spirits. By your three-day and life-giving resurrection of the fallen forefather, raise up me who crawled with sin, offering me images of repentance. By your glorious ascension, deifying the perception of the flesh, and by this right hand of the Father by the graying of mail, make me worthy of receiving the right part of those saved by the communion of your saints. With the descending of the Comforter of Your Spirit, the sacred vessels are honest, Your disciples have made, friend, and show me That coming. Although you should come again to judge with the universal truth, deign to make me meet Thee in the clouds, the Judge and Creator of mine, with all Thy saints: yes, I will endlessly glorify and sing of Thee, with Thy Father without beginning, and Thy Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 4, St. John of Damascus:
Master Lord Jesus Christ, our God, only having the power of a person to forgive sins, as good and loving of mankind, despise my whole knowledge and not knowledge of sin, and make me unjudgmentally partake of the Divine, and the most glorious, and the purest, and life-giving Your Mysteries, not in heaviness, not into torment, not into the application of sins, but into cleansing, and sanctification, and betrothal of the future Life and kingdom, into a wall and help, and into the objection of the opposition, into the destruction of many of my sins. You are the God of mercy, and generosity, and humanity, and we send glory to You, with the Father, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 5, Saint Basil the Great:
Wem, Lord, as I unworthily partake of Your most pure Body and Your precious Blood, and I am guilty, and I judge myself and drink, not judging the Body and Blood of You, Christ and my God, but for Your bounty, daring, I come to You who recks: the eater of My flesh and drink my blood, abides in me, and I in him. Have mercy then, O Lord, and do not rebuke me a sinner, but deal with me according to Thy mercy; and may this holy one be with me for healing, and purification, and enlightenment, and preservation, and salvation, and for the sanctification of soul and body; to drive away every dream, and crafty deed, and the action of the devil, mentally acting in my hands, in boldness and love, even to You; in the correction of life and affirmation, in the return of virtue and perfection; in fulfillment of the commandments, in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, in the guidance of the eternal belly, in response, favorable at Your terrible judgment: not into judgment or condemnation.

Prayer 6, St. Simeon the New Theologian:
From bad lips, from a vile heart, from an unclean tongue, from the soul defiled, accept prayer, my Christ, and do not despise my words, below images, below studiolessness. Give me boldness to speak, even if I want, my Christ, moreover, teach me what it is fitting for me to do and speak. I have sinned more than a harlot, even if I have taken away where you live, having bought peace, come boldly to anoint Your feet, my God, Lord and my Christ. As if he didn’t reject what came from the heart, disdain me below, Word: Give me your nose, and hold and kiss, and tearful streams, like a valuable world, this boldly anoint. Wash me with my tears, cleanse me with them, O Word. Forgive my transgressions, and grant me forgiveness. Weigh many evils, weigh and scabs, and see my ulcers, but weigh faith, and see volition, and hear sighing. You are not hidden, my God, my Creator, my Redeemer, below a drop of tears, below a drop of a certain part. What I have not done is seen by Your eyes, but in Your book, and still not done, the essence is written to You. See my humility, see my work as a tree, and leave all sins, God of all: yes, with a pure heart, a trembling thought, and a contrite soul, I will partake of Your undefiled and most holy Mysteries, everyone who eats and drinks with a pure heart is enlivened and adored; Thou hast said, my Lord: everyone who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood, this one abides in Me, and Az is seven in him. The word of every Master and my God is true: partake of divine and idolizing graces; Yes, because I will not be alone except for You, the Giver of Life, my breath, my stomach, my joy, the salvation of the world. For this sake, I come to You, as if you are seeing, with tears, and with a contrite soul, I ask you to accept the deliverance of my sins, and to partake of Your life-giving and immaculate Sacraments without condemnation, but abide, as if you said, with me, trembling: yes, not only find me Your grace, the deceiver will delight me with flattering, and the deceitful one will lead away those who worship Thy words. For this sake, I fall down to You, and I cry warmly to Ty: as if you accepted the prodigal, and the harlot who came, so accept me, prodigal and filthy, Generous. With a contrite soul, now coming to You, we, Savior, like another, like I, do not sin against You, below the deed of the deed, even as the deeds. But we pack this, as it is not the majesty of sins, nor the multitude of sins that exceeds my God, much long-suffering, and extreme philanthropy; but by the grace of compassion warmly repentant, and clean, and brighten, and create light, partakers, fellows of Your Divinity, making it unenviously, and strange both with an angel and with human thought, talk to them many times, as if your true friend. This audacity they do me, this one they hold me up, my Christ. And daring with Your rich beneficence to us, rejoicing together and trembling, fire and partake of this grass, and a strange miracle, we irrigate it without disgrace, as if the bush were burning in ancient times. Now, with a grateful thought, with a grateful heart, with grateful hands of mine, of my soul and body, I bow and magnify, and glorify Thee, my God, as a blessed being, now and forever.

Prayer 7, St. John Chrysostom:
God, weaken, forgive, forgive me my sins, O Elika, I have sinned, if in word, if in deed, if in thought, willingly or not, mind or foolishness, forgive all of us as good and humane, and with the prayers of Your Most Pure Mother, Your smart servants and the holy forces, and all the saints who have pleased you from time immemorial, uncondemnedly be pleased to accept your holy and most pure Body and honest Blood, for the healing of the soul and body, and for the purification of my evil thoughts. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen.
His own, 8th:
Be satisfied, O Master Lord, that you may enter under the shelter of my soul; but if you wish, you, like a Lover of mankind, live in me, daringly I approach; command me to open the door, even though you alone created you, and enter with philanthropy, as if you were, enter and enlighten my darkened thought. I believe that you did this: you did not drive away the harlot who came to you with tears; below the publican rejected thou who repented; lower than the thief, knowing thy kingdom, thou hast driven away; below the persecutor, repenting, you left, hedgehog: but from repentance to you, who came all, in the person of your friends, you made you, the only blessed one always, now and forever and ever. Amen.
His own, 9th:
Lord Jesus Christ my God, weaken, leave, cleanse and forgive the sinful, and indecent, and unworthy Thy servant, transgressions, and sins, and my fall, Thy tree from my youth, even to this day and hour I have sinned: if in the mind and in foolishness, even in words or deeds, or thoughts and thoughts, and undertakings, and all my feelings. And with the prayers of the seedless birth of Thee, the Most Pure and Ever-Virgin Mary, Thy Mother, the only shameless hope and intercession and my salvation, grant me unjudgment to partake of Your most pure, immortal, life-giving and terrible Sacraments, for the remission of sins and for eternal life: for sanctification and enlightenment , strength, healing, and the health of the soul and body, and in the consumption and all-perfect destruction of my crafty thoughts, and thoughts, and enterprises, and nightly dreams, dark and crafty spirits; for Yours is the kingdom, and power, and glory, and honor, and worship, with the Father and Your Holy Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 10, St. John of Damascus:
I stand before the doors of Your temple, and I do not retreat from fierce thoughts; but You, Christ God, who justified the publican, and had mercy on Canaanite, and opened the door to the thief of paradise, open the wombs of Your love for mankind and receive me coming and touching You, like a harlot, and bleeding: Ova, having touched the edge of Your robe, make healing pleasant, Ova but keep your feet clean, bear the resolution of sins. But, accursed one, daring to perceive all Your Body, but I will not be scorched; but accept me, like one, and enlighten my spiritual feelings, burning my sinful guilt, with the prayers of the seedless Birth of Thee, and the powers of Heaven; so blessed are you forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer of Saint John Chrysostom:
I believe, Lord, and I confess that You are truly the Christ, the Son of the living God, who came into the world to save sinners, from whom I am the first. I also believe that this is Your most pure Body, and this is Your precious Blood. I pray to Thee: have mercy on me, and forgive my transgressions, free and involuntary, even in word, even in deed, even in knowledge and ignorance, and make me worthy to partake without condemnation of Your most pure Mysteries, for the remission of sins, and for eternal life. Amen.

When you come to take communion, say mentally these verses of Metaphrastus:
I now proceed to Divine Communion.
Co-worker, do not singe me with communion:
Thou art fire, unworthy fire.
But cleanse me from all filthiness.

Then:
Thy secret supper this day, Son of God, take part in me; we will not tell the secret to your enemy, nor kiss thee, like Judas, but like a thief I will confess you: remember me, Lord, in your kingdom.

And the verses:
Horror of the deifying Blood, man, in vain:
There is fire, unworthy fire.
Divine Body and adores and nourishes me:
He loves the spirit, but the mind nourishes strangely.

Then troparia:
Thou hast delighted me with love, O Christ, and Thou hast changed me with Thy divine zeal; but my sins fell into an immaterial fire, and to be satisfied with the hedgehog in Thee of pleasure: Yes, rejoicing, I magnify, Blessed, Thy two comings.
In the light of Thy Saints, how can I enter unworthy? If I dare to go to the chamber, the clothes convict me, as if I were not married, and I will be cast out from the Angels. Cleanse, O Lord, the defilement of my soul, and save me, like a Lover of mankind.

Also a prayer:
O Lord, Lover of mankind, Lord Jesus Christ my God, may this Holy One not be in my judgment, for the hedgehog unworthy of being: but for the purification and sanctification of the soul and body, and for the betrothal of the future life and kingdom. But it is good for me to cling to God, to place in the Lord the hope of my salvation.

And further:
Your Secret Supper... (See above)

Those who wish to receive communion must adequately prepare for this holy sacrament. This preparation (in church practice it is called fasting) lasts several days and concerns both the bodily and spiritual life of a person. The body is prescribed abstinence, i.e. bodily purity (abstinence from marital relations) and restriction in food (fasting). On the days of fasting, food of animal origin is excluded - meat, milk, eggs and, about strict fasting, fish. Bread, vegetables, fruits are consumed in moderation. The mind should not be scattered over the little things of life and have fun.
During the days of fasting, one should attend services in the church, if circumstances permit, and more diligently follow the home prayer rule: whoever usually does not read all the morning and evening prayers, let them read everything in full, whoever does not read the canons, let them read at least one on these days canon. On the eve of communion, one must be at the evening service and read at home, in addition to the usual prayers for the future, the canon of repentance, the canon of the Mother of God and the guardian angel. The canons are read either one after the other in full, or connecting in this way: the irmos of the first song of the penitential canon is read (“Like Israel having traveled on dry land, in the footsteps of the abyss, seeing the persecutor of the pharaoh being drowned, we sing a victory song to God, crying out”) and troparia, then steaming the first songs of the canon to the Theotokos ("Contain many misfortunes, I resort to you, seeking salvation: oh, Mother of the Word and Virgo, save me from the heavy and fierce"), lowering the irmos "Water passed ...", and steaming the canon to the Guardian Angel, also without irmosa (“Let us sing to the Lord, who led His people through the Red Sea, as if he alone was gloriously glorified”). The following songs are read in the same way. The troparia before the canon to the Theotokos and the Guardian Angel, as well as the stichera after the canon to the Theotokos, are omitted in this case.
The canon for communion is also read and, whoever wishes, an akathist to Jesus the Sweetest. After midnight, they no longer eat or drink, for it is customary to start the Sacrament of Communion on an empty stomach. In the morning, morning prayers are read and all the following to Holy Communion, except for the canon read the day before.
Before communion, confession is necessary - whether in the evening, or in the morning, before the liturgy.

Thanksgiving prayers for Holy Communion.

Glory to Thee, God. Glory to Thee, God. Glory to Thee, God.

Thanksgiving prayer, 1st:
I thank you, Lord, my God, as if you did not reject me as a sinner, but you made me worthy of being a companion of Your holy things. I thank Thee, for I am unworthy to partake of Your Most Pure and Heavenly Gifts. But the Lord, Lover of mankind, for our sake died and rose again, and granted us this terrible and life-giving Sacraments for the good deed and sanctification of our souls and bodies, let me be this and me for the healing of the soul and body, for driving away every opposing one, for enlightening the eyes of my heart , in the world of my spiritual strength, in shameless faith, in love without hypocrisy, in fulfillment of wisdom, in keeping Thy commandments, in the application of Thy Divine grace and appropriation of Thy Kingdom; yes, in Thy sanctuary we preserve them, I always remember Thy grace, and I do not live for myself, but for Thee, our Lord and Benefactor; and tacos of this life have come about the hope of the eternal belly, I will reach eternal peace, where the unceasing voice of celebrating, and endless sweetness, beholding Your face, kindness inexpressible. Lord Christ God, King of the ages, and Creator of all, I thank Thee for all who gave me the good, and for the communion of Your most pure and life-giving Sacraments. I pray to Thee, O Better and Lover of mankind: save me under Thy shelter, and in the canopy of Thy wings; and grant me with a pure conscience, even until my last breath, worthy to partake of Your holy things, for the remission of sins, and for eternal life. Prayer 3, Simeon Metaphrastus:
Giving food to me the flesh of Your will, this fire and scorching the unworthy, but do not scorch me, my mate; rather, go into my heart, into all the compositions, into the womb, into the heart. The thorns of all my sins fell. Purify the soul, sanctify the thoughts. Approve the compositions with the bones together. Feelings enlighten a simple five. Nail me all to Your fear. Always cover, keep, and save me from every deed and word of the soul. Cleanse and wash, and adorn me; fertilize, enlighten, and enlighten me. Show me Your village of one Spirit, and not to anyone the village of sin. Yes, like your house, the entrance of communion, like fire, every villain, every passion runs to me. I bring prayer books to You all the saints, the officials of the incorporeal, Your Forerunner, the wise Apostles, to these Your undefiled pure Mother, accept their prayers graciously, my Christ, and make Your servant a son of light. Thou art the sanctification and one of ours, Blessed, souls and lordship; and it is beautiful to Thee, as to God and the Master, we send up all the glory for every day.

Prayer 4th:
Thy Holy Body, Lord, Jesus Christ, our God, may it be with us in eternal life, and Thy Honorable Blood for the remission of sins: be this thanksgiving to me in joy, health and gladness; in your terrible and second coming, vouchsafe me a sinful statue at the right hand of your glory, with the prayers of your Most Pure Mother, and all the saints.

Prayer 5, to the Most Holy Theotokos:
Most Holy Lady Theotokos, the light of my darkened soul, hope, protection, refuge, consolation, my joy, I thank Thee, as you have vouchsafed me to be unworthy, a partaker of being the Most Pure Body and Honest Blood of Your Son. But giving birth to the true Light, enlighten my intelligent eyes of the heart; Even the Source of immortality gave birth, revive me, mortified by sin; Even the merciful God, the compassionate Mother, have mercy on me, and give me tenderness and contrition in my heart, and humility in my thoughts, and an appeal in the captivity of my thoughts; and vouchsafe me to the last breath, uncondemnedly accept the most pure Mysteries, sanctification, for the healing of the soul and body. And give me tears of repentance and confession, in a hedgehog and glorify Thee all the days of my belly, as if you are blessed and glorified forever. Amen.

Now let your servant go, Lord, according to your word, in peace: as my eyes have seen your salvation, if you have prepared before the face of all people, the light for the revelation of tongues and the glory of your people, Israel.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (thrice).

Our Father, Who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as in heaven and on earth. Give us our daily bread today; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Troparion of St. John Chrysostom, tone 8:
Your mouth, like the lordship of fire, having shone grace, enlighten the universe: not the love of money of the world, the treasures of the world, the height of our humility of wisdom, but punishing us with your words, Father John Chrysostom, pray for the Word of Christ God to be saved to our souls.

Kontakion, tone 6:
Glory: Thou hast received Divine grace from heaven, and with thy mouth teaches all to bow in the Trinity to the one God, John Chrysostom, all-blessed, reverend, worthy of praise to you: thou art a mentor, as if divine.

Canon of the Most Holy Theotokos

According to biblical teaching, sorrow and despondency are the result of a sinful life of a person. Falling into them, the soul falls away from God, from the source of joy and love, peace and good. But the Lord promised to give a person according to his faith, therefore, despite the various situations and phenomena that can occur in our lives, even if you fall under one of the deadly sins - despondency due to your sins, you must strive to get out of it as soon as possible, before this disease takes root and did not grow in the soul.

One of the ways that allows you to avoid a painful situation is to read a special rule that helps to overcome this dangerous spiritual disease. The rule is called the Penitential Canon. It can be read to the Guardian Angel, who is assigned to a person and is able, at the request of his ward, to do a lot for him, to the Lord and, of course, to our main Intercessor - the Queen of Heaven.

Story

In the VIII century from the Nativity of Christ, the prayer canon of the Mother of God was created by a holy man, a spiritual writer named Theostirikt (or Theoctist). It was a famous admirer in his time sacred icons and the author of many spiritual texts.

Then the Emperor Constantine Copronymus ruled in Greece. He was a cruel king, and the period of his reign is the time of the appearance of iconoclasm in addition to the persecution of the Church. The reign of Emperor Constantine Copronimus is sometimes even compared with the reign of the pagan ruler Diocletian, who inhumanly mocked Christians. Similarly, this ruler subjected the monks for their fidelity to Christ, for the fact that they guarded the icons, terrifying tortures.

Unfortunately, St. Theostirikt was no exception: his nose and hands were burned with hot resin. The rest were stoned. However, this holy elder, the creator of the sacred canons of repentance to the Lord, the Mother of God and the saints, nevertheless steadfastly withstood the trials that befell him and eventually lived a fruitful long life, having passed away in deep eldership.

Ancient sources contain information that Saint Theostirict often suffered from bouts of black despondency. It was associated with constant persecution by the emperor of the state against Christians of that time. He deeply worried about the fate of the Church of Christ, His people, because they were constantly being attacked.

Therefore, being a deeply religious person and also having the gift of spiritual writing, he composed special hymnographic songs-poems, which were called the Holy Penitential Canons to Christ, the Mother of God, the Guardian Angel. These chants supported the monk and allowed him to overcome this painful state and again find peace in his soul and harmony in relations with the Almighty.

Reading the canon today

Today, believers who read these canons of St. Theostiriks in special situations equally experience a positive result not only in relation to their internal state, but also note positive changes in their external, family, personal life.

Canons are sung together with other chants or separately. The main thing is that prayer comes from the heart, this is what will ultimately play a decisive role.

About the language of the canon

Initially, since the canon was written by a Greek, it was created in the author's native language - Greek. After our ancestors, it was translated into the then Slavic. This language is still in our modern temples books are printed on it, according to which the clergy sing prayers according to all the canons. For ease of use and understanding, new books have been published in which all the words of the prayers are preserved, but printed in modern letters.

This made it much easier to understand. Actually, it is this option that we see in almost all prayer books. At first, it is difficult to understand Slavic verbal constructions, the manner of expressing thoughts, long complex sentences, and so on. But for Christians, for whom Russian has become a second native language, but was not originally one, there are translations where all the words and expressions of prayers are written as if they were written by a modern person using completely modern vocabulary. Such prayer books can be bought or heard, for example, on New Athos in Abkhazia.

Of course, the canons of repentance have been translated into all the languages of the world, so that Christians from other nationalities can begin this great heritage of the possibility of healing their souls and receiving help from above.

The main types of prayer hymns to the Most Holy Theotokos

It should be noted that at the moment a fairly significant number of prayer addresses to the Mother of God have already been written, perhaps more than any of the saints or even the Lord. This is due to the multitude of Her holy miraculous icons. However, in general, all prayers, both large and small, are divided into:

  • prayer,
  • repentant.

Canon of Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos

The prayer canon of the Mother of God is best known, which begins with the words “to the Mother of God, now diligently as a parson,” the text of which is also used when singing the prayer service to the Mother of God. It was written in the 12th century by a novice of one of the male monasteries of that time.

This is a prayer chant got its name due to the exceptionally penetrating hymn-singing verses that can cause in every Christian who prays with these words a state that is called “contrition of the heart” in the Gospels - when a person not only admits his imperfection, but also begins to grieve about it, which ultimately leads to the fact that he becomes more humane, kind, attentive.

This is what can be called "softening evil hearts." This is not just to crush a person, weaken him and take away all his dignity. And, you can say, change the minus to a plus. Replace pride with humility, meekness and love for your neighbor - the same once damaged. Evil should also be replaced with love and forgiveness for all the sorrows caused and become kinder, and therefore stronger.

A person who is kind and strong in his heart and will to do good returns the true dignity of his soul within himself. And more importantly, dignity before the eyes of God- so that he could not only give a person various benefits by grace, but also because a kind and loving person simply becomes worthy of this.

Of course, humility before God (as the highest love) allows the Creator to restore in us all the damaged areas of the soul and give grace, which the corrected human soul will be able to receive into itself. And with the return of the grace of God all evil and posthumous states of the soul also leave the soul of a person by themselves:

At one time, such a beneficent influence of prayer became the reason that the holy fathers included the canon Mother of God before Communion- every believer had to read it in order to approach with the right mindset the acceptance of the Body and Blood of Christ.

It should be noted that its original purpose is indicated by a brief explanation, which suggests that this chant is also worth starting to read when a person is overcome by various spiritual sorrows. The rule saves from it and from despondency.

Canon of Repentance to the Most Holy Theotokos

In addition to prayer hymns, the canon of repentance to our Most Holy Lady is also often published in the prayer book for the laity and monks. Christian Orthodox doctrine says that something that a person cannot forgive himself and others, God can. And also at all times, since the time of her earthly wandering, the Mother of God could ask Her beautiful Son about people, about events - about everything.

And now, when She is the Queen of Heaven and earth and has the grace from God to receive everything she asks, she does not forget us. Therefore, all those who have realized the need for this resort to Her protection and protection from themselves, from sin and damage to the soul. Now she is the Helper and Patron of all sinful people.

It is for this reason that all Christians (and not only) from century to century cry out to Her in their petitions for help from the consequences of their sinful actions. Resorting to the canons to the Mother of God, petitions about her help in atoning for sins- this chant to the Blessed Virgin Mary is the most accessible means to achieve this goal.

Canon to the Theotokos before Communion

Before Communion, the combined canons are read:

  • Lord Jesus Christ,
  • Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos,
  • Guardian Angel.

One troparion (song) was taken from each canon. A chorus is sung between songs (there are several of them, and they change depending on the place of the canon). To the Mother of God, the chant sounds like “Most Holy Theotokos, save us.” Alternatively, it may be "Holy Mother of God", with the letter "e" at the end. This should not be taken as a mistake, but you need to know that the ancient pronunciation has been preserved, where the vocative case has been preserved, and it has the endings -o and -e.

The three canons before communion are combined as follows:

This is the usual procedure for reading combined canons. But, in any case, one should rely on the compiler of the prayer book: everything in them usually corresponds to the rules.

You can also turn for detailed explanations to the Liturgical Directions or the Typicon - the complete charter of Church life and the conduct of prayers and Divine Services.

The meaning of the canons to the Most Holy Theotokos

The reading of the canons before the Sacraments of Confession and Communion is a sequence of requests to the Lord and His Mother to give them the opportunity to confess, health, to give them the strength to proceed to Communion and cleanse the soul before themselves and God, so that the Guardian Angel is relentlessly near and does not allow dark forces attack, influence and send bad thoughts, did not allow the spirit of despondency to enter the soul, etc., delivered from temptations. The canon before communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ is capable of:

  • to help tune the mind, heart and soul to fellowship with the Heavenly Father,
  • give strength and health to go to confession,
  • free from sins
  • give inner opportunities to fight them and evil spirits.

In no case should you justify your laziness, give yourself indulgences or blame someone else for your sins. Sorrow and shame for one's actions must not be hypocritical. The health of the soul will inform the strength and the carnal component of man.

Constant reading of the canon is capable of many things:

  • cure anger and anger.
  • calm the desire to swear and quarrel,
  • give a good mood
  • satisfy greed and give the desire to share goodness with people.

There are many examples when, after prayer, the most favorable events happened to people, something that was previously inaccessible was obtained. Prayer is the door to everyone's life for a different good. The Lord always hears (even if he does not show) the prayers of sinners, and many Angels, according to the assurance of Christ Jesus, rejoice in heaven and triumph when one of the sinners (and this is all of us) repents to God and offers sincere prayers.

Reading the canon to the Blessed Virgin Mary, like all other prayers, is necessary slowly, with heartfelt attention and contrition of the heart. It is of great importance to try to realize the meaning of the canon in order to receive the grace of God through the right attitude.

The penitential canon to the Most Holy Theotokos is a special hymn with which believers express their respect to the Queen of Heaven and ask her for deliverance from the sin of despondency. The author of the canon and the time of its creation are unknown.

Why read

As is clear from the very name of the hymn, the repentant canon to the Theotokos is sung by believers in order to forgive the Lord for sins committed. They turn to the Queen of Heaven for the reason that for a long time it was customary to consider the Mother of God as a Helper and Patronage before Christ for all sinful people.

The repentant canon is also sung to the Theotokos to get out of the state of despondency, which is considered one of the seven deadly sins. It helps to tune the soul, heart and mind to communion with the Lord. With constant reading, it saves a person from anger and anger, bad mood. For some people, the penitential canon helps in finding their own path in life.

When to read

Unlike a number of chants, which are usually read only on strictly defined days of the year, the penitential canon to the Most Holy Theotokos can be read at least every day, because there is not a single sinless person on Earth. In addition, regular reading of it gives a good mood, sets in a positive mood and the desire to bring good to people.

Canto 1

As if Israel had walked on dry land, in the footsteps of the abyss, seeing the persecutor of Pharaoh being drowned, we sing a song of victory to God, crying out.

Every time I sob my filthy life, and my multitude of immeasurable evils: what shall we confess, Pure, I am perplexed and horrified: but help my Lady.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Where will I begin to speak, my crafty and fierce fall, passionate Az; alas for me that I will be the rest; but Lady, before the end, have mercy on me.

Glory: The hour of death is the hour, and I always think about the terrible judgment, Most Pure One, but by custom I am seduced by the all-evil fierce: but help me.

And now: Good decayer, looking at me now naked of Divine virtues, and far apostatized and alienated from God, rushes to devour me: Mistress, anticipate.

Canto 3

Nothing is holy, as You, O Lord my God, have lifted up the horn of Your faithful, O Blessed One, and established us on the rock of Your confession.

My passionate soul, Our Lady of the Mother of God, was scorched badly from my immeasurable evils: and whatever else I’ll go, I’m all obsessed with despair.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

And a hedgehog in the image, scorched himself, Pure, and in the likeness: in deed, and in word, and in thought, the deeds are unplaced.

Glory: There is no other in men, having done something unlike, nor be born in the world, as if I, Good, are darkened in mind: for the baptism of the Divine is defiling.

And now: At the end, the evil ones have reached, Blessed Virgin, you will soon help me: heaven and earth cry out to the mountaineer, from the placeless deeds of incomparable.

Canto 4

Christ is my strength, God and Lord, the honest Church sings divinely, crying out from the pure meaning, celebrating in the Lord.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

The ranks of angels, and the armies of the heavenly forces, your Son are horrified by the powers, Pure: now, having despaired, I am possessed by fearlessness.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

The whole earth was surprised and horrified by seeing, fierce and evil to those who create me, and placeless: and your Son seems to have much mercy.

Glory: Having defiled the evil bodily Church, and the Church of the Lord, people tremblingly enter into the nuzhe, but I enter the prodigal without coldness: alas for me.

And now: Do not reveal, Mistress, do not reveal me, strangely, the blood of your Son, who is unworthy of all: but wash me from the filth of my sins.

Canto 5

With Thy light of God, Blessed, illumine those souls with love in the morning, I pray, lead Thee, the Word of God, the true God, calling from the darkness of sinfulness.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

With your divine radiance, Good One, heal my spiritual passions, even the corruption of all: and deliver me from this bitter captivity.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Adam, therefore, transgressed the commandment of the one Virgin, and fell into exile: how I weep for the abyss of my transgressions, I am criminal.

Glory: The killer, then, appeared to the tree, and the fratricide Cain, cursed by God by God: what will I do, having killed my soul now, and I am not ashamed.

And now: Esau is jealous of the fierce, gluttony, and satiety: the whole, the soul of the defiled by drunkenness, and the caress of my life: and who does not weep passionately, alas for me.

Canto 6

The sea of \u200b\u200blife, erected in vain by the misfortunes of the storm, has flowed to Your quiet haven, crying out to Thee: raise my belly from aphids, O Many-merciful One.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

My life is prodigal, my soul is filthy, and my stomach is all cursed, but my body is all in evil fierce scales: the same, the Virgin, help me.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

The end is before me, and I’m not warm, Good, my conscience convicts me: the deeds of the evil one are coming, and the life of prodigality, and I am horrified at the judgment of your Son, Pure.

Glory: Flesh is my kindling, the fiery river is terrible and inextinguishable, it truly awaits, and the worm is unsleeping: but quench this with your prayers, Most Pure.

And now: Now I am possessed with trembling, Good One, and I am horrified by crafty catching: before the end, the corruption wants to kill me, holding me like a captive of everything, and the nakedness of virtues.

Lord have mercy, three times.

Glory, and now: saddle, tone 6

Hope and a wall, and a haven for your people, Virgo: born from nothing passionless Savior of all: as if crying your Son at the cross, now pray to deliver from all aphids, singing thee.

Canto 7

The angel made the cave a fruitful lad, the Chaldeans, the scorching decree of God, exhort the tormentor to cry out: blessed be Thou, God of our fathers.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Seven times a week, kindle the flame with my evil passions, and my heart always mortifies with lusts: the same with the currents of my tears, quench it, Mother of God, and save.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Scorched by the mud of my sins, do not reject me, Good Lady: for in vain I exist in despair, the crafty enemy laughs: but you yourself, with your sovereign hand, raise up.

Glory: Terrible judgment judge, my passionate soul and insensible, and the torment is unending and terrible: but now both fall down to the Mother of your Judge and God, and do not despair yourself.

And now: Darkened passionately, with a multitude of immeasurable evils, and defiling the soul and body and mind: the same, the Most Pure, with the light of your radiance, soon introduce me to passionlessness of sweetness.

Canto 8

Thou hast exuded dew from the fire of the saints, and burnt the righteous sacrifice with water: do everything, O Christ, only if you want. We exalt you forever.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

I am horrified at the arrival of a mortal, O Most Pure One, and now I am afraid of the whole court of it: the dea is evil, I am not ashamed at all: have mercy on me before the end, with your prayers, Virgin.

Glory: Grant unceasing groaning, Lady, and give me clouds of tears, and wash away my many sins, and incurable ulcers: as if I would improve eternal life.

And now: My many evil confessions to you, the Lady: as if there is not a single person in the world who has angered God, the Son and your Lord: this will soon be changed to mercy, Virgin.

Canto 9

It is impossible for a man to see God, the ranks of Angels do not dare to look at Worthless; By you, the All-Pure One, the Word Incarnate appeared as a man, His majestic, with heavenly howls we appease Thee.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Even from the Trinity of the one God gave birth, and carried on the hand, the Virgin Mother: extinguish the passions of the fiery furnace, and wash my soul with tear currents.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Behold, I come to you, Most Pure, with much fear and love, a fortress that knows many of your prayers, your servant, it can truly be a lot, Mistress, the mother’s prayer to the Son: it bows with mercy.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Even from the Trinity of the one God gave birth, and carried on the hand, the Virgin Mother: extinguish the passions of the fiery furnace, and wash my soul with tear currents.

Holy Mother of God, save us.

Glory: And now and then, let me find your help, Pure, at the hour in the same time my spirit will depart: soon, relieve me of demonic torment, Immaculate, and do not leave me Good, I will be betrayed to be them.

And now: Judge the generous tea, and your philanthropic Son: Pure, do not despise me, but do me a favor, put me at the right hand then, All-blameless, to his most pure judge: on thee I hope.

Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary

My Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos, with your holy and all-powerful prayers, banish from me the humble, and your cursed servant despondency, oblivion, foolishness, negligence, and all the filthy, crafty and blasphemous thoughts, from my wretched heart, and from my darkened mind. And extinguish the flame of my passions, for I am poor and cursed: and deliver me from many and fierce memories, and enterprises, and free me from all evil actions. For blessed are you from all generations, and your most pure name is glorified, forever, amen.

Our Father who is in heaven! May your name be hallowed; let your kingdom come; may Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us our daily bread today; and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Psalm 50

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Wash me most of all from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and my sin before me is taken out. I have sinned against you alone and done evil before you, as if you were justified in your words, and conquered when you judge Thee. Reward me the joy of Your salvation and confirm me with the dominating Spirit. I will teach the wicked in Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from blood, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue rejoices in thy righteousness. Then be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, an offering and a burnt offering; then they will offer bullocks on your altar.

Symbol of faith

I believe in one God the Father, Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, visible to all and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only Begotten, who was born of the Father before all ages; Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, uncreated, consubstantial with the Father, Whom all was.

For us for the sake of man and for our sake of salvation, he descended from heaven and became incarnate from the Holy Spirit and Mary the Virgin and became human.

Crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried.

And resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures.

And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father.

And the packs of the future with glory to judge the living and the dead, His Kingdom will have no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Life-Giving One, who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who spoke the prophets.

Into one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the remission of sins.

I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.

Then the canon itself is read.

Abbreviations: instead of the inscription "Glory:" or "Trinity:", it reads "Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Instead of the inscription “And now:” or “Theotokos:” it reads “And now and forever and forever and ever. Amen". Instead of “Glory, and now:” it reads “Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever and forever and ever. Amen". During private reading, in addition to the liturgical custom, it is allowed to read instead of the word “Trinity”: “Most Holy Trinity, our God, glory to Thee”, and instead of “Mother of God”: “Most Holy Theotokos, save us.”

Before reading each troparion, a refrain is added (see refrains to the canons). If the troparion is preceded by the designation “Glory:” or “Trinity:”, then the troparion is dedicated to the Lord and instead of the refrain, “Glory:” is read. If the troparion is inscribed “And now:” or “Theotokos:”, then it is dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos and is also read without a refrain (only “And now:” is read). If there is no trinity in the song, but only the Mother of God, “Glory, and now:” is read in front of it. If there is no Mother of God (in the canons of the Most Holy Theotokos), then “Glory, and now:” is read after all the troparia. In the eighth ode, instead of "Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" it reads "Let us bless the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit of the Lord." After the 3rd and 6th songs (when reading at home), “Lord, have mercy” is read three times.

The connection of the canons is made according to the Typicon or liturgical instructions. The canons to the Lord and holidays are read first. The second is the Most Holy Theotokos. The third - to saints, reverends, martyrs, righteous people and other saints. At the beginning of each song, the irmos of the first canon is read, then all its troparia with refrains in turn, then the troparia of the next song of the second canon, etc.

After the canon, the closing prayers are read:

It is worthy to eat as if truly blessed Theotokos, Blessed and Immaculate and Mother of our God. The most honest Cherubim and the most glorious without comparison Seraphim, without the corruption of God the Word, who gave birth to the real Mother of God, we magnify Thee.

From Pascha to Ascension, instead of this prayer, the refrain and irmos of the 9th song of the Paschal canon are read: “The angel cries out for the Gracious: Pure Virgin, rejoice! And pack the river: rejoice! Your Son is risen three days from the tomb and raised up the dead; folks, have fun! Shine, shine, new Jerusalem, the glory of the Lord is upon you. Rejoice now and rejoice, Sione. But you, Pure One, show off, Mother of God, about the rise of Your Nativity.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And now and forever and forever and ever. Amen.

Lord have mercy. (Three times)

Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother, our reverend and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Some believers, in addition to the traditional initial prayers, also read the following lines between the Lord's Prayer and Psalm 50:<.>

excerpts from the prayer to the Holy Trinity:

Come, let us worship our King God. (Bow)

Come, let us bow down and bow down to Christ, our King God. (Bow)

Come, let us worship and bow down to Christ Himself, the King and our God. (Bow)

Psalm 142

Lord, hear my prayer, inspire my prayer in Thy truth, hear me in Thy righteousness, and do not enter into judgment with Thy servant, for no one alive will be justified before Thee. As if the enemy chased my soul, humbled my stomach to eat in the ground, planted me to eat in dark, like dead centuries. And my spirit is in me, my heart is troubled in me. I remember the days of old, learn from all your deeds, learn from your hand in creation. Lift up my hands to Thee, my soul is like a dry land to Thee. Hear me soon, O Lord, my spirit is gone; do not turn Your face away from me, and I will be like those who go down into the pit. I hear, do me Thy mercy in the morning, as if on Thee hopes. Tell me, Lord, the way, I will go to it, as if I had taken my soul to You. Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, I have resorted to You. Teach me to do Your will, as You are my God. Your good Spirit will guide me to the land of right. For the sake of Thy name, O Lord, live me in Thy righteousness, bring my soul out of sorrow, and consume my enemies by Thy mercy, and destroy all who afflict my soul, for I am Thy servant.

Glory, and now. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to Thee, O God. (Thrice with bows)

Lord have mercy (12 times). Glory, and now.

Then twice the holy troparion.

Glory, and now, the Theotokos according to the voice of the troparion (Note: The Theotokos is taken in the same voice as the troparion preceding it).

And the traditional closing prayers are replaced by the following:

Mistress, accept the prayer of Your servants and deliver us from all need and sorrow, You are, Mother of God, our weapon and wall, You are the intercessor, and we resort to You, and now we call on prayer, but deliver us from our enemies. Let us all magnify Thee, the all-immaculate Mother of Christ God, South of autumn, the Most Holy Spirit. (Bow)

Trisagion. Holy Trinity... Lord, have mercy. (Three times) Glory, and now. Our Father...

Then they read the troparion, Glory, kontakion, and now, the Theotokos.

Lord have mercy (40 times).

And, optionally, one or more prayers. If there is no separate prayer, then you can read the prayer of the common saint.

If we omit prayers, then: Glory now.

Then:

The most honest Cherubim and the most glorious without comparison Seraphim, without the corruption of God the Word, who gave birth to the real Mother of God, we magnify Thee. (Bow)

Glory (bow), and now (bow). Lord have mercy (thrice). God bless. (Bow)

Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God, through the prayers of Your Most Pure Mother, holy martyrs (or holy martyrs, or reverend, or righteous), names and all the saints, have mercy and save us, as Good and Humanitarian. Amen.

Lord have mercy (thrice).

If desired, the troparion about health can be read three times:

Merciful Lord, save and have mercy on Thy servants, their names (bow). Deliver them from all sorrow, anger and need (bow), from every disease of mind and body (bow). Forgive them every sin, voluntary and involuntary (bow) and create useful things for our souls (bow).

In the Old Believer churches, before the reading of the canon, the beginning of seven bows is also pronounced with additional prayers (before the initiatory prayer):

God, have mercy on me a sinner. (Bow)

Created me, Lord, have mercy on me. (Bow)

I have sinned without number, Lord, have mercy and forgive me, a sinner. (Bow)

It is worthy to eat, as truly, bless Thee, the Mother of God, the Blessed and Immaculate and Mother of our God. The most honest Cherubim, and the most glorious Seraphim without comparison, without the corruption of God the Word

We magnify thee who gave birth, the present Mother of God. (bow to the earth)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Bow)

And now and forever and forever and ever. Amen. (Bow)

Lord, have mercy (three times). God bless. (Bow)

Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother, by the power of the Honest and Life-Giving Cross, and my guardian holy angel, and for the sake of all the saints, have mercy and save me, a sinner, as a Good and Humanitarian. Amen.
