A very strange comparison, because both phones, although they have similar technical parameters, but cost completely differently. The price difference is about $100, but the cheaper phone has better hardware. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy A7 model. Despite the lower cost of the smartphone, an 8-core processor is installed here. Therefore, this device should work faster than its opponent - the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone. The S5 model has a 4-core processor, which, however, is also very, very good. In terms of RAM, there is no excellent one - both models have 2 GB of RAM built in.

Screen ... in the A7 smartphone, the screen diagonal is 5.5 inches versus 5.1 in the S5 gadget. At the same time, the resolution is the same in both models, so the Samsung Galaxy A7 with a diagonal of 5.5 inches wins in this case. Still, a larger screen is better, although the number of pixels per inch will be lower here, which will make the picture less detailed. However, these are trifles.

Cameras... the Samsung Galaxy S5 wins here with its 16 MP camera. The A7 model also has a good 13 MP camera, but it is still worse than the one installed in the Samsung Galaxy S5. The front cameras are of little interest to anyone and are not as important as the rear ones, but, nevertheless: in the Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone, the rear camera is a little better. So for those who like to take selfies, the A7 smartphone with a 5 megapixel front camera is more suitable.

Battery capacity is the last difference between these smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is not the most powerful, but still a good 2800 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy A7 has a 2600 mAh battery, i.e. at 200 mAh, its capacity is lower. Under normal load, the S5 model will last a little longer.

Nevertheless, if we compare the technical data of smartphones, then we preferred the Samsung Galaxy A7 model because of the powerful 8-core processor. This gadget will run "heavy" applications and run a little faster than the Samsung Galaxy S5 (theoretically).

So it turns out that the flagship of 2017, which is sold at a very attractive price, becomes an excellent choice in 2019.
