All this was discussed at the course "Introduction to oil and gas production", which was held by specialists from the oil and gas division of PromResurs last week.

Although the course has ended, we will be happy to repeat it for you.

The course will be useful to you if:

We studied: Training of galvanizers

There are a little more people who have mastered a qualified specialty, Hooray!

Our specialists conducted another training for the employees of the electroplating shop with the organization of theoretical and practical classes. In the course of practical exercises, work was carried out to cover parts of complex shapes.

Now electroplating will be able to independently perform the declared work, and the company will not spend invaluable time on their training in the process of working on productive parts and will reduce the level of defects in their production.

We are waiting for everyone who has not completed the training yet!

Recruitment of the Railway Crane Operator group in July

Buy a license - what's behind it?

Very often you can find ads with a screaming headline “Buy a certificate”, “Buy a crust”, “Buy a certificate”. And we are talking not about buying the forms of certificates themselves, but about selling a ready-made certificate in your name, which confirms your qualifications. They offer to buy everything, from a labor protection certificate, fire safety, and ending with working professions, such as a slinger, a turner, etc.

Almost every employer asks the question “How much should an employee of a certain profession be paid?”. The reason for the appearance of such questions is that the salary of employees can vary depending on many factors. The main factor on which the amount of remuneration depends is the qualification of the employee, because workers with specific skills in a particular industry can produce better products and services.

The abbreviation ETKS stands for "Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference Book of Works and Professions of Workers." At first glance, you might think that this is a book, but in fact, ETKS is a huge collection of essays, which has more than 50 volumes. Experts are constantly working on its improvement.

This directory contains information about all professions that exist in the territory Russian Federation. This information is presented as tariff and qualification characteristics, which were developed in accordance with each category of each specialization of workers. These characteristics include the requirements put forward for workers of each qualification in a particular profession.

The ETKS of professions is an official document approved by the authorities and in some cases has legislative force. The prerequisites for its creation appeared in the Soviet Union: each worker in the country received a salary in accordance with his professional skills and rank.

Professional development meant an increase official duties, remuneration and, accordingly, a document on the qualification assignment had to be submitted to the workplace.

Relevance of the directory

The relevance of this handbook is as follows:

  • This system, as it was, and remains very convenient. Since ETKS has been developed for quite a long time, and changes continue to be made to it, it is perfected to the smallest detail. The employer does not need to determine how much to pay his employees. It will be enough for him to look into this directory and find the relevant requirements for workers in the desired profession.
  • The second point is that the public sector of the economy has been preserved in the Russian Federation. It must necessarily be dominated by order and control due to the fact that we are talking about the state budget, which must be clearly planned, and state budget expenditures must be reported.
  • When it comes to private business, important point in the relations of a private entrepreneur with the state are taxes, benefits and the Labor Code and other documents that include the norms labor law. In tax audits, with the help of ETKS, any expenses and differences in wages of workers in the same profession can be justified. For example, two locksmiths will have different salaries because they have different ranks.

ETKS is used in such institutions:

  • in organizations of large-scale production;
  • in educational organizations;
  • in public authorities;
  • in firms in order to regulate the activities of employees.

In this section, the rates of work have been improved in accordance with the scientific organization of labor and scientific and technological progress.

Usually in this directory, each profession is placed in a specific section and occurs only once. The first section contains professions that are not specific to a particular industry.

Below is an example of a section of professions for all sectors of the economy:

This is an example of an ETKS design. To find the right profession, you need to find the right section on the Internet, and from there take all the information of interest.

Where and what editions can be downloaded

In 2020, the ETKS remains relevant with changes from 2008. In total, there are 68 published brochures in the Russian Federation, representing the entire characteristics of most professions. They are grouped by industry to make it easier to find. You can download ETKS as the entire guide, or by sections.

It includes the following sections:

  • "Professions for all sectors of the economy";
  • "Foundry works";
  • "Oil and gas production works";
  • "Construction works";
  • "Production of equipment";
  • "Restoration works", etc.

The very first edition of ETKS was issued back in the Soviet Union, in the 80s. After that, it is constantly being refined by specialists. Finding sections of the directory on the Internet is not difficult, so anyone can download it for free and find out for their specialty, what requirements are put forward for it, and what payment should be.

Communication with accounting

ETKS is necessarily used by organizations that have chosen a tariff system as a settlement with their employees. The basis for the calculation of wages are the tariffs indicated in this handbook, as well as the nature of the work and its complexity.

This document states that the salary of workers may be higher than specified if there are conditions that complicate the labor process. In accordance with labor legislation, if a tariff-free remuneration system was chosen, then salary accounting should be carried out in accordance with, otherwise, when calculating salaries, it will be necessary to rely on the rates specified in the ETKS.

Employees of structural divisions in the course of their activities can make such mistakes, which are quite common:

  • The employee does not correspond to the qualifications of the position held. According to labor law, some professions can be performed by people with the appropriate education. If the employee performs his duties competently, then a commission may be convened to assign him the highest rank. Most often, an unqualified employee occupies a position, and this is a gross violation of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation;
  • The second popular mistake is the appointment of incentive payments without reason. Here we are talking about the fact that the organization must have certain documents regulating the calculation of bonuses.
  • Another violation is the erroneous calculation of wages during overtime work, and the labor process in difficult conditions. According to ETKS, wages in such situations should increase. The organization should have a strategy of behavior in such situations, which the accountant will rely on when calculating salaries.

The use of ETKS professions in practice

ETKS becomes necessary in such situations:

  • drafting employment contract;
  • increase in the rank of an employee;
  • calculation of wages, depending on the qualifications assigned;
  • assessment of special skills and abilities of personnel.

In practice, this handbook becomes necessary immediately when an employment relationship begins. As soon as an employment agreement begins to be drawn up, problems arise in establishing the duties of a potential employee. These responsibilities should be fixed in the text of the contract or in the job description.

The unified tariff and qualification reference book of workers' professions is based on the legislative provisions from article 143 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, according to which tariff categories are assigned. Employers, due to the frequently changing financial situation, cannot be aware of all events; a large collection, including dozens of volumes with latest information about remuneration of specialists of all levels and directions.

What it is?

Before the owners of firms, their economic service is the task - correctly calculate the salary of workers.

Signs that affect the calculation of the amount are:

  • skill level;
  • experience in a particular profession;
  • increasing professional knowledge and skills.

From the size of the salary, the quality of the manufactured product increases, services improve, they subjectively affect the efficiency of labor productivity. Legislation carefully monitors all changes, improves points, changes tariffs in all professions of citizens of the Russian Federation, they report this in their publications in numerous volumes under the abbreviation ETKS.

Complete reference Information, collected in a specific book, presents users characterization of ranks in all different specializations, which is required from an employee when receiving a certain rate.

Professional list released as official document, approved by the authorities, may affect the assessment of labor in some points. The bitwise division of professional skills began a long time ago, since the time of the USSR, and continues to this day.

Qualification accompanies the worker:

  • increased job responsibilities
  • increased salary;
  • received document, distinguishing from the general mass of workers.

The classifier in a peculiar way plays a dual role, helping the management to appreciate the work, and employees to receive fair pay, as well as moral and material satisfaction.

actual application

The convenience of the system developed over the years is obvious. Developments honed in detail, constantly updated. Employers, without violating the provisions of the Labor Code on payment, at any time find data for each specialty with the relevant requirements.

Despite various changes in the public sector of the Russian economy, preserved its foundation. In this tool, along with order, control over the planned state budget, into which reports on expenditures in this area are collected, prevails.

Relations between production and the state are sealed by taxes, payment of benefits on the basis of documents on labor legal norms. When carrying out checks, the control bodies take into account the rationale of the organization's management, why there was a difference in the wages of workers of the same specialty, but of different levels of categories, according to ETKS.

These guides are used:

  • large-scale enterprises;
  • educational institutions;
  • companies to regulate the activities of employees.

Even for the authorities, there is a separate volume, which contains regulations that limit the remuneration of officials.

An idea of working ranks, jobs and general provisions

Performance will improve if carried out in a timely manner:

  • assigning a working billing;
  • assignment of qualification category;
  • drawing up an improved program that increases the level of specialization.

Numerous sections of the ETKS present the characterized professional lines, grouped by industries and types of activity. Scientists worked on them, combining in their developments the increasing progress with increased requirements for an educated and trained worker.

The guide allows you to highlighting the special abilities of the worker within 8 categories, but the manager can increase earnings additionally if he takes into account the difficult working conditions.

The tariff qualifications indicated in the descriptions of frequently occurring jobs also show on the list that defines the duties of employees in any direction. The procedure for fulfilling the requirements must be monitored and established in production. heads of institutions.

Basically, all provisions are described for a worker of a high professional level, assuming that novice specialists have an idea of \u200b\u200btheir work and are familiar with the growth of salaries along with the increase in acquired skills.

  • with special training

You can visualize the execution of work processes using an individual example.

ETKS 2020 for working professions is a unified tariff and qualification guide, it specifies qualification requirements. Used for billing, certification, in the development job descriptions and for other purposes, which will be discussed in the article.

Many Soviet-era personnel management tools are still relevant today, although some of the regulatory documents are obsolete, the principle of their construction and application can be used quite successfully, especially in production and the national economy. Often in the speech of personnel officers there are phrases “ETKS-2018”, “reference book of 2020 working professions”. Various lists, classifiers, lists of qualification requirements - a lot of work has been invested in their compilation, this is extensive material and it deserves attention. Let us understand what is meant by ETKS.

What is ETKS and why is it needed

This document is a list of positions with qualification requirements for the workers who occupy them. ETKS 2020 for working professions is used in determining the qualifications of a worker, assigning ranks, and conducting certifications. The abbreviation stands for Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference.

This is a rather voluminous document, the main parts of which were initially approved by government decrees back in Soviet time, in the 80s. Since then, it has been revised and edited many times. The version that exists at the moment has 72 issues, which are divided into sections. In them, the positions are combined according to some sign: the type of activity, the branch of the national economy where they are applied.

What is it needed for:

  • for billing. That is, in accordance with it, it is possible to determine the complexity of the work performed by the employee and, in particular, to establish the wage rate;
  • to conduct certification and determine whether the employee is suitable for the position held and qualification requirements. Usually, job descriptions are developed taking into account this document;
  • to determine the correct title for a particular position. This often causes difficulties for managers who do not have special knowledge;
  • to develop programs for advanced training courses.

How to use the guide

It is not difficult to understand how the Unified Tariff and Qualification Handbook 2020 of Worker Occupations is built, and how to use it. Knowing the desired issue and section, they can be selected from the list. Alternatively, you can simply search by issue titles, which provide a clear indication of the roles included and qualification requirements.

  • a general description of the duties performed by the worker, what functions are assigned to him;
  • description of the competencies of the employee holding a similar position.

For each profession, categories are indicated, that is, a specialist of the 1st category is more qualified and does more difficult work.

If it is difficult to navigate the list of issues, use the search tool at the top of the page to find the right classifier:

  1. Enter a job title.
  2. Click the "Search" button.

The search result will be a list of suitable professions, including the word entered in the search field.

Is it mandatory to use

The question arises: is the tariff-qualification directory of works and professions of workers, 2020, mandatory now? The answer is given in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation: it defines the principles of the tariff system of remuneration. The general principle established by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation is as follows: the more complex the duties, the higher the payment. It has been established that the tariffing and assignment of categories are carried out on the basis of the Unified Tariff qualification handbook or subject to professional standards.

ETCS or professional standard

As stated in Labor Code of the Russian Federation, The Unified Tariff and Qualification Directory of Works and Professions of Workers is used along with professional standards. The employer has the right to decide which of these documents to use.

When drawing up an employment contract and work book, other documents and certificates of labor activity it is important to prescribe the name of the position held in strict accordance with the indicated normative documents. This is important because if she is on list 1 or 2, or any benefits are established for such workers, for example, upon retirement, the names must be used exactly as in the directory or professional standard, otherwise the Pension Fund may refuse to enrollment of this period of activity in a special experience, and you will have to prove it in court.
