What to do if you get sick before the exam. When will the results of the exam be known? Can I agree with the commission on the exam to help? And they can advise

On May 28, the main USE stage. This is a unified state exam that is mandatory for all students in grade 11. Based on its results, a school leaving certificate is issued and enrolled in universities.

Ekaterina Miroshkina

following the exam

The exams are taken strictly according to the schedule. In one day, one exam for all graduates of all cities.

On May 28, they took geography and computer science, on June 14 they write social science, and the main stage will end on June 20 with literature and physics. Then there will be spare days. A few more days are reserved for those who could not come for a good reason.

We dismantled difficult questions that excite graduates and their parents in USE period.

Can I change elective exams? If one item was indicated in the application, and now they decided to hand over another?

Additional exams could be chosen until February 1st. You can’t just change the list of exams - only for a good reason, with the permission of the commission and if there are at least two weeks left before the exam.

A good reason in such cases is, for example, when the university suddenly includes a new subject in the list of entrance examinations. This is a violation on the part of the university, but it happens.

If you chose several exams in reserve in February, you can not come to the one that is not needed.

Extras can be left out

For example, if computer science, physics, history and social studies were indicated in the application, and after computer science it became clear that there were enough points, you might not come to history and social studies. There will be nothing for it.

If a graduate decided to enter another university and he does not have enough exams, he will have to wait for the next year. This also happens: it is unpleasant, but not fatal.

What happens if you don't show up for the exam you need to take?

If you do not come for a good reason - for example, because of illness - you can take the exam on reserve days. After the main stage ends, those who missed it will be allowed to take exams. A good reason must be documented. If there are no documents, they will not be allowed to take exams on a reserve day.

If you do not pass the Russian language and basic mathematics at all, you will not be issued a school leaving certificate. But these items will be allowed to retake this year.

Do not come to the mandatory - only for a good reason

A missed elective exam can only be taken after one year.

If you realize that you will not be able to come to the exam, be sure to call the class teacher and subject teacher. They will tell you what to do next, where to go, what documents to collect and when you can retake. You can even call teachers late in the evening or early in the morning: during the exam period, they are usually always in touch, because sometimes more graduates are worried. At least that's what all the teachers we talked to told us.

When will the results of the exam be known?

Typically, reviews of all levels take a maximum of two weeks. Results may be published earlier, but no later than the scheduled date. The fastest way to check basic mathematics.

Who checks the work? How objective are the ratings?

Each work is checked by several people. The test part is checked by the computer. There is a clear instruction for verification, so subjectivity is almost excluded. There may be different interpretations for oral subjects or essay, but usually deviations are one or two points. If the inspectors have different grades, the result will be determined in favor of the graduate.

All forms are anonymous. Works for verification are distributed among experts automatically. No one knows that this particular student wrote a particular work. And the students do not know who will get their work, even if they try to leave some mark on the form.

After checking in their region, the work can be sent for cross-regional checking. And then, until March 1 of the next year, they are randomly checked again.

It's better not to deal with anyone.

Negotiating with the commission, looking for friends and paying money for a check is a huge risk. It is illegal. And yet no one can guarantee that everything will work out: the USE check is strictly controlled, including federal level. If something like this is discovered, everyone will be punished. And the results of the exam will not count at all, even if the work is really written well.

If you do not agree with the results, then what to do?

File an appeal. There are two working days for this after the results have become officially known.

The chance that it will be possible to win back one or two points is small. But if it is, it is better to use it: sometimes admission to a budget place depends on one point.

An appeal should be filed if you know for sure that, for example, the essay is written perfectly. You cannot appeal the test part based on the results of the answers. The maximum that you can count on is that during the check the signs were not so recognized, but there is little chance.

Sometimes, based on the results of the appeal, the number of points is reduced, although the graduate was counting on an increase. You need to think carefully before drawing attention to your work.

How to find out the answers to the exam in advance? They say they can be bought or found in other regions.

No. Leakage of USE results is excluded. If on some sites they offer to buy answers to tests, these are scammers. No one knows the content of the test materials before the students sit down at their desks and the exam officially begins.

Sometimes the teachers themselves say that they have learned what the options will be. Or one of the inspectors offers to buy them through an acquaintance. Don't trust anyone.

There are no answers to the exam. What they sell is not the answer

There have already been cases when parents paid 50 thousand rubles or even more, but there was not a single coincidence.

Teachers are not scammers, they want the best and they themselves can think that they got the right options. They sit and decide on the night before the exam, as if to help. And then at the exam it turns out that the tasks and answers are different.

There is only one benefit in such schemes: if you take any options somewhere and solve them yourself, this will help you better prepare for the exam.

Can I take my phone to the exam?

It is forbidden. Nothing can be taken to the exam, except for a passport and a pen. Some items are allowed to take a ruler, calculator or protractor. Where the exam is held, there are metal detectors at the entrance.

Even if you managed to carry the phone, it is still unlikely to be used. Here are some real situations where graduates tried to use the phone and failed.

Ivan put the phone in a pocket sewn to his shorts and said that the detector reacts to piercings. He carried the phone and left it in the toilet. I wanted to take time off during the exam and consult with the teacher through WhatsApp.

After the start of the exam, the inspectors inspected the toilets and removed all the stash with communication equipment from there. Going for the phone was a shame, and Ivan was left without a new Samsung. Until September, he was afraid that somehow it would be found out that it was his phone, and the exam results would be canceled.

Everything worked out: Ivan himself passed the exam and got a good score. If he had been caught, he would not have enrolled this year.

Anya carried the phone in her bra, safely hid it in the toilet, and no one found. During the exam, Anya took time off, took the phone, but could not use it. On the floor was a device to suppress the communication signal. The phone was useless.

At the Unified State Examination in mathematics, Anya relied on the phone: last year her friend succeeded. As a result, Anya missed five points and now her parents pay 80 thousand rubles a year.

Vitya carried the phone in a sneaker straight to the class where the exam is being held. I was afraid to leave it in the toilet, because they could find it. Vitya did not need a communication signal either: he was not going to write or call. He took a photo of the physics formulas with his phone in advance. I wanted to take time off and peep if a difficult task comes across.

Vitya almost succeeded. But at 10:30 the phone vibrated from the call of the grandmother, who was very worried about her grandson. Physics was not credited to him, he failed to enter a good technical university.

Some manage to carry the phone and use it. But this is a violation.

Can you carry cribs? Will they be able to use?

Theoretically, cheat sheets are easier to carry than a phone, but it’s better not to carry them in - this is also illegal. Evaluators are not allowed to ask a student to undress, feel them, or check their pockets. The metal detector does not react to cheat sheets, but they are found in the toilets and taken away even before the exam.

You will not be able to use cheat sheets or additional literature directly on the exam. Video cameras are installed in all rooms and broadcast on the Internet. It is monitored in real time and then selectively reviewed after the exam.

It also happens like this.

Zhenya wrote a list of words with the correct accent on masking tape and stuck it on her legs under her skirt.. Zhenya is an excellent student and knows Russian well, but all her friends did it, and she, too, just in case. The cheat sheet was not useful to her: she knew the words anyway.

Two hours later, Zhenya asked to go to the toilet and forgot about the adhesive tape. The cribs peeled off and slipped under the pantyhose to my knees. This was noticed by a member of the commission in the corridor. Zhenya was to be removed from the exam in disgrace. She miraculously and with tears managed to persuade the inspector not to report the violation. And although Zhenya was met halfway, she was so worried that she wrote the essay poorly and did not get enough points for the faculty of journalism. In fairness, almost all currently practicing journalists advise against going to journalism departments.

Vika and Liza made history cheat sheets for two. They also took the answers to the tests that were sold to them as real ones. So that they would not be caught, they divided it all in half. Classmates got into different audiences and agreed in advance to meet at 11 o'clock in the toilet.

They asked for leave, as agreed, at the same time, but did not take into account that they were being taken to different toilets - each was taken to the one that was closer. It was not possible to meet, and Lisa needed those cribs that Vika took with her.

Cheat sheets need to be written before the exam, only to better remember. Do not take them with you to the exam. There are no ideal options without risk, everything cannot be foreseen. Something can always go wrong, and not only the income to the budget, but also the school leaving certificate will be at risk.

Can I agree with the commission on the exam to help? Can they advise?

No, no one will tell you anything. You can ask a question only by filling out the form. It must be answered loudly and clearly. Calling a member of the commission to you and asking for help in a whisper will not work.

Such requests have no practical meaning. The commission is made up of teachers in other subjects or administrative workers.

Members of the commission are monitored by other members of the commission, public observers, Rosobrnadzor and the prosecutor's office. Everything is very strict. If someone helps a graduate, he will be fined.

If everything is correct on the draft, but there is an error on the form, what answer will be counted?

Always count the answer that is on the official letterhead. Drafts are not graded.

You need to properly allocate time to check the work and have time to rewrite everything without errors.

What if the exam becomes bad?

You need to contact a healthcare professional. He is always present in the audience. Then they will act according to the situation. If the work cannot be continued, it will be recorded, but the results will not be evaluated. It will be possible to hand over again on a reserve day.

If you need to take medication during the exam, it is allowed. If you need to drink juice, eat sweets or take an injection, you can do that too. You can bring water or a chocolate bar with you, but you won’t be able to use them as cheat sheets: everything will be checked. If they find the inscriptions, they will delete it without the right to retake it.

If this year there are not enough points, and there is no way to study for a fee, what then to do?

If you didn’t manage to score even a minimum in basic subjects, you won’t get a certificate. The main subjects will be offered to retake on a reserve day or in the fall.

If the scores are above the minimum, but still low, you can retake the exams in the desired subjects next year and choose the best result.

USE results are valid for four years. For example, if a graduate did well in Russian and biology, but got excited in mathematics and missed three points, you can retake mathematics in a year and apply to the university again.

Postponing admission just because there were not enough points in a prestigious university is unreasonable. Anything can happen in a year.

It's better to go to university than to wait a year

There is no guarantee that next year you will succeed in passing the exams well, and the passing score will not be increased. It is better to choose a faculty or university simpler, and then look for options for a transfer or to do it again.

Ksyusha wanted to become a microbiologist or virologist. Of the additional subjects, she chose biology and chemistry, but she entered for free medical academy Did not work out. In order not to lose a year, Ksyusha submitted documents to the Institute of Food Production, where chemistry was also needed. She entered the budget and got a room in a hostel. The following year, she changed her mind about taking the exam again - she remained at her university. Now Ksyusha has already received her diploma, she works as a food technologist at an international enterprise and earns five times more than her parents, doctors.

If there are not enough points at all to enter the budget, there is an option not to enter, to prepare, and next year retake the exam.

Sergei also wanted to become a doctor, but he did not pass biology well and did not pass the budget. He had a deferment from the army, so in order not to lose a year, he entered the medical college in his city and was preparing to retake the exam. If it didn’t work out, Sergey would have stayed in college, trained as a paramedic and still worked in medicine, as he dreamed of.

But he succeeded. The following year, he retaken biology and with the same results in Russian and mathematics entered to study as a cardiologist. By that time, he had also managed to get a referral from their local cardiological dispensary, which also helped.

What are the ways to pass the exam well?

To pass the exam well, you need to prepare for it. It's best to start in tenth grade. You can prepare on your own or with a tutor.

Shortly before the exams, it is most effective to solve tests of previous years. Tasks in the exam are typical and in different years may come across very similar. If there is a tutor, he will select the correct method of preparation, taking into account the abilities of the student.

What is the best thing to do before an exam?

Graduates need to sleep. You can't sit all night on textbooks or look for answers for this year. Not getting enough sleep and getting nervous is the worst thing.

In the morning you need to have breakfast, dress comfortably and arrive where you are supposed to by 9 o'clock. The exam will start at 10 o'clock, but it is better to arrive early to look around and adjust.

You need to come to the exam rested and calm.

Can be submitted at the same time USE results at five universities. Each has three faculties. All information about specialties, documents, the number of budget places and passing points is published on the websites of universities.

If you can’t get into the budget, think about where to get money to pay for your studies. It is better to take care of this even before the exams, just in case. Find out at the institute how to transfer to the budget from the second year, if this is practiced. If you try hard, you can save a lot of money.

Experiment with faculties and universities. In one institute, there is a competition of 100 people per place, while in another there may be a shortage even for a similar specialty. The prestige of the university does not guarantee anything.

Invite the student to look for job opportunities. You can transfer to correspondence, work in shifts or remotely.

On parent meetings you have probably already been told many times that there is nothing more fateful in a person’s life than the results of the exam. You know by heart the mantra that your child's future directly depends on each score obtained on this most important of the exams. You were menacingly urged to take it seriously and not relax. And, of course, you were asked to convey this to your children as well.

Of course, passing the exam is a serious matter. As serious as passing any other exam. You should not be too imbued with high-flown arguments about its exceptional significance. And there is absolutely no need to remind the child about this once again: believe me, he hears about this every day from teachers.

Better remember how you yourself passed the final, and then the entrance exams. There was no terrible abbreviation then, but there were exams, and in total there were no less, and sometimes even more, than current applicants.

The form has changed, but the final exams, as before, do not go beyond the school curriculum.

You did it at one time, and your child, who is certainly not dumber than you, will also cope. So tell him.

11 years of school - more stress than the exam

A man who for most of his life has been doing homework, reading, solving, proving, memorizing, and moving from class to class every day for most of his life knows enough to pass his last school exams. Anyone who wrote so many test papers and never died of fear on them has nothing to be afraid of at the Unified State Examination. Compared to 11 years of apprenticeship, the stress of a few hours of final exams is such nonsense!

Tell your frightened child that from the promised “hard to learn - easy to fight” program, the “easy” part is finally about to come.

The more I know, the less I know

"I do not know anything!" - this is the conclusion your graduate comes to in the process of preparation and inevitably falls into despair. Tell him that he is not the first to understand this, and that Socrates also had a similar thought. Praise the child for the correctly noticed addiction and explain that each new knowledge opens up a perspective for him to new unexplored areas, which is why the illusion of the insignificance of his own knowledge arises.

One who stands at the foot of a mountain sees only one mountain, while one who climbs to its top sees other mountains around.

At the same time, remind the child that he is not faced with the task of embracing the immensity - you just need to remember the key things from the school curriculum. It is to remember, not to study. Everything that he "teaches" now, he has been teaching for the last 11 years.

Plan b

More than the USE itself, the only thing that scares me is the prospect of passing it with low scores, which are not enough to enter the desired university. As you know, the fear of failure is worse than failure itself. The best medicine from anxiety of this kind is a visualization of the worst-case scenario.

First, try it yourself, and then together with your child, imagine that for some mystical reasons he failed the exam and his dreams will not shine in the next year. Consider a few options further action, and there are quite a few of them. This is a simpler university, and secondary specialized education, and self-education, and work, and various courses, and much more.

It is very important that your child understands that failure at the exam in no way puts an end to his dreams about the future, but only makes the path to them a little more tortuous.

USE can be retaken

And this is the most important thing to remember about the exam.

Those who are not lucky enough to get a satisfactory score in Russian or Mathematics can retake these subjects on additional days allotted for retaking. In the event that the student has not passed both compulsory subjects, a retake is possible in the fall of the same year.

If it fails on the second attempt, you can repeat the retake next year. Graduates who have received above the minimum score on the USE, but who want to improve their results, can also retake the exams for the next year.

Even the worst result of the exam is not a sentence; if desired, it can always be corrected.

Repeat this often, at least to yourself. Your calmness and confidence will help your child much more than horror stories about forever ruined life and career as a janitor.

28. Do grade 9 exam scores count towards college admissions?

When applying to college, the results of the state (final) certification of graduates of grade 9 in a new form can be taken into account.

Yesterday, more than 425,000 graduates took the USE in basic mathematics. Of these, 414 thousand are this year's graduates. For the first time, the exam is divided into two levels - basic and profile. "Base" gives the right to get a certificate, but does not allow you to enter universities where there is an entrance exam in mathematics. This can only be done with specialized USE. Many schoolchildren chose both levels at once - this is allowed.

To obtain a certificate, it is enough to complete 7 tasks out of 20. The deuce on the basic USE can be retaken this year on a reserve day, - explained the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov. To be clear, if a student gets a "2" in core math, they will only be allowed to retake the subject at the core level. And the profile can be retaken only next year.

Based on the experience of the early wave, which took place in April, the experts concluded that the graduates cope well with the basic tasks in mathematics. “We can single out the three most common mistakes,” the head of the federal commission of developers told RG. USE tests in mathematics Ivan Yashchenko, - not everyone understands the condition of the problem, they make arithmetic errors with negative numbers and cannot check themselves after they have completed the task. "Good results were shown by Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Bashkortostan, Yakutia and other regions.

The math exam is one of the most difficult exams for schoolchildren. Knowledge in this subject last years in schools catastrophically fall. And after Rosobrnadzor sharply increased security measures at the Unified State Exam, the number of 100 points in mathematics fell significantly. In 2013 there were 536, and in 2014 only 64. Average score down ten points.

The profile exam in mathematics will be held on June 4. The early wave showed that far from all those who signed up come to it. Perhaps, the tests seemed difficult to someone, and someone changed their mind about entering universities, where they need to take the exam in mathematics.

Problem

Evgeny Yamburg, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, director of the Moscow school N 109:

6 million children from 0 to 18 years old are periodically treated in clinics. But there are no exact statistics: health authorities register patients, and educational authorities register those who need training. As a result, long-term ill schoolchildren find themselves in an interdepartmental failure.

In recent years, I have had to solve the problems of these children, since my school includes two divisions: one on the basis of the FNKTs im. D. Rogachev, where children with complex oncological diseases lie, and another on the basis of the RCCH, where children from various regions of the country are treated for a long time. Among the latter are those who have been waiting for a kidney transplant for years, are being treated after serious burns, and so on. All of them are guaranteed the constitutional right to receive a full-fledged education. But the practical implementation of this right runs into legal, financial and organizational restrictions. Last year, on the basis of our two clinics, in agreement with Rosobrnadzor for high school students, which turned out to be quite a few, final exams were organized in grades 9 and 11. This year, 80 (!) clinics applied for final certification.

In long-term ill children, the final certification is an increased motivation for learning. Often, such children, even under a dropper, want to continue their classes. And doctors consider education one of the effective means of rehabilitation of a sick child. You can not endlessly concentrate on the disease and live only according to the medical protocol: from procedure to procedure. Although, of course, in the specific conditions of the hospital, this protocol must be reckoned with, dosing training loads and class schedules.

High school students are the hardest hit. They do not want to lag behind healthy peers. The diligence and dedication of the guys is unprecedented. Deep down, they believe that as soon as the state spends energy and money on their education, they will definitely live. And it's so important to have a purpose in life. So judge: do we torture sick children by organizing final exams in clinics?

To fully understand, and most importantly, to feel the importance of a full-fledged living by a big and small person of any, even the final stage of life, can only be the one who himself experienced such a tragedy. For a long time, I did not allow one of my deputies, with whom we have been working together for more than thirty years, to enter the school division operating on the basis of the children's oncology center. In the late 70s, his first child died of leukemia. Since then, therapies have improved tremendously. Today, such a diagnosis no longer sounds like a sentence. The living conditions of such children in hospital wards are changing. When I first got to this division of the school, with difficulty restraining my emotions, my deputy recalled how my son and his roommates played with IV hoses, discussing among themselves which of them would die first.

Today, the country is forced to carry out widespread cost optimization. Perhaps limiting ourselves to exclusively remote forms of education for such children, giving them the opportunity to gain knowledge in remote access? Cheap and modern, if, of course, the clinic has high-speed Internet, and parents are able to buy a tablet for their children. We use distance learning for children who cannot participate in group classes and connect to the lesson directly from the boxes. But a computer will not replace a sick child with direct contact with a teacher.

This topic is immeasurably broader than the problem of teaching long-term ill children. It affects the attitude towards inclusive education in general. How is a doctor different from a teacher? The doctor does not choose easy patients, avoiding difficult cases. His professional skills are evaluated primarily on the basis of how he copes with severe pathologies. The professional psychological attitudes of the teacher are different. He prefers to deal with smart capable "patients". They warm the soul of the teacher, testifying to the high quality of his work. It is according to these highest achievements (one hundred-point students of the Unified State Examination, winners of Olympiads) that school ratings are built, qualification categories are assigned, and bonuses are paid.

Not only is it unfair, since raising an incapable student with serious developmental problems and health limitations to the “troika” is no less difficult and, of course, worthy of remuneration than teaching a motivated talented child. It is noteworthy that at any conference where the results of the activities of schools are summed up, first of all, the USE indicators and the results of the participation of schoolchildren in federal-level Olympiads are compared.

The pursuit imposed on schools primarily for the highest achievements of education with independent external evaluation the quality of their work entails not only severe social consequences. It is also dangerous for the health of children. At the end of the school year in the fourth grade, a control cut of knowledge is held. Everything is grown-up: an independent observer, a secret package that is opened at a certain time, children's work that must be collected, sealed in an envelope, sealed and submitted for independent examination. In a word, mini-USE. Despite the preliminary work of teachers and a psychologist aimed at creating a benevolent atmosphere and relieving stress from children, they are nervous, which is natural.

In the midst control work one boy becomes ill: he has a severe form of diabetes, he goes to school with a connected pump. The nurse is nearby, she immediately gives the necessary injection and calls the student's mother. Sweeping away the guards and the administrator on duty, the mother rushes into the classroom with tears. After some time, the boy comes to his senses, he is calmed down, and he successfully completes the work.

A number of questions arise here. Who needs it? Why launch final attestation forms even in primary school? To assess the quality of work of teachers and schools, as well as for moral and psychological preparation for the exam. But isn't the price of such quality too expensive? After all, sick children do not always lie down and study in clinics - they attend ordinary schools en masse. It may be reasonably objected that such a child should not have been admitted to the control section of knowledge. But he stubbornly wants to be like everyone else! The ban on participation in the control trial is no less stressful for him. It is also good that a health worker was nearby at the right time and in the right place. It might not have been, since schools have been outsourced in medical care, and doctors have been removed from the school staff.

Social studies show that the overwhelming majority of teachers tend to teach in lyceums and gymnasiums, seeing potential opportunities for their career growth in working with a select contingent of students. With such initial attitudes, what kind of inclusion can we talk about? No new professional standards will help here, allowing you to work with a complex heterogeneous composition of children. They will not save the standards, because their development requires, first of all, a strong humanistic position of the teacher. Exhortations and sermons in such conditions are ineffective. It is necessary to immediately change the criteria for assessing the pedagogical activity of both teachers and schools.

Diagnosis contrary

Serezha Alenichev, 15, can hardly get out of bed: he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of the right femur last year. A huge tragedy for the family. But the guy did not give up and stubbornly continued to practice. Dreams of becoming a doctor.

Due to the long treatment, I would have to miss a whole academic year. But it turned out that the Dima Rogachev Center for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology has a school where children not only study, but also pass their final exams, - says mother Larisa Alenicheva. - Mathematics, Russian, literature, physics, chemistry... The only difference is that the lessons take place in the ward. It happens that because of the medicines he takes, it hurts Seryozha to speak and he cannot answer in class. But the boy listens, silently solves problems, writes everything down.

Final exams for seriously ill children and disabled people are voluntary. But Serezha firmly decided: he would finish high school and pass the GIA-9 no matter what. Did not stop even the recent surgery. On the appointed day, the hospital wards turned into classrooms: they were given serial numbers and signs were hung: "Hush! There is an exam." Before handing out sealed envelopes with assignments, the organizers gave instructions on how to fill out the forms, how long the exam takes, etc.

There was one dealer in each classroom. Next to him is the organizer, who makes sure that all the rules are followed: no cheat sheets, no mobile phones. If the child needed medical help, a doctor could come into the ward. And outside the door all 4 hours of the exam an observer was on duty.

There are no concessions: everything is strictly according to the rules, - says Larisa Alenicheva. - Before the exam, Serezha had a fever - 38.4. I tried to dissuade him, but he still decided to pass mathematics. He handed over, sitting on the bed: he had a dense folder for forms and problems. An hour later, I asked to take the temperature: I jumped out. The exam was stopped, and when the temperature was brought down, it continued. Seryozha decided everything is fine, quickly.

On the one hand, exams for sick children are a lot of stress. On the other hand, this is a good goal and a way not to get hung up on the disease.

Recall that GIA-2015 is held in the ninth grade in two forms - the Main State Exam (OGE) and the State Final Exam (GVE). The first one goes for most schoolchildren and resembles the exam in form. And children with disabilities can take the GVE, which can consist of oral and written tasks using texts, topics and tickets. Russian hospitals have organized six examination points for sick children. Two in Moscow, one each in the Novosibirsk region, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, the Kaliningrad region.

No sanctions were invented for truants of the Unified State Exam

The same "three" or "five" in different schools hides a different level of knowledge. And when entering a university, an applicant can even get a “deuce”, although he actually wrote a solid “four”. They go first. In order to avoid such “misunderstandings”, the country has been experimenting with the USE for the third year in a row. "MK" publishes the answers of the head of Rosobrnadzor Viktor BOLOTOV to the most "hot" questions of graduates.

- How much time is allocated for the exam and are breaks allowed during the exam?

There are no breaks. If there is a need to leave the audience for obvious reasons, then this is possible only accompanied by the organizers. The duration of the exam in mathematics and literature is 4 hours (240 minutes), in physics - 3.5 hours (210 minutes), in Russian, biology, geography, chemistry, social science, history of Russia - 3 hours (180 minutes), in foreign languages (in Moscow - English) - 167 minutes.

- What to do if caught incorrect assignment?

If you are sure that the question is incorrect, you should immediately contact the subject commission of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation and file an appeal on the content. If the marriage of the compilers is established, then all the guys will automatically receive a point for an incorrect task. In addition, if someone from the audience interfered with you, you can immediately file an appeal for violation of the exam procedure. The appeal is submitted only on the day of the exam at the examination point. If you do not agree with the mark, then the appeal must be filed within three days starting from the day after the official announcement of the results. Appeals are considered two to three days after the application is submitted.

- Is it known in advance which seat in the audience the USE participant will sit in?

The distribution of USE participants in places in the classrooms is carried out automatically one and a half hours before the start of the exam.

The USE is evaluated on a 100-point system. How will schools count? Does each region have its own scale of recalculation or is there a single one?

Every year after the USE, we collect statistics for all regions and determine the boundaries of the "two", "three", "four" and "five". Based on this, appropriate grades are given in school certificates. As for higher education, it may have its own recalculation scale. It is clear that the requirements for mathematics at the Mekhmat and the requirements for mathematics at a construction university may be different. For a mekhmat, the boundary of the “five” is 90 points, for a construction university it can be 50 points. We look at the level of performance of examination papers. For example, we thought that for the “troika” it was necessary to do the following task, but only 5% of the children completed it. We understand that our specialists made a mistake, considering it easy, and we need to reconsider what tasks are required for the “troika”. And vice versa: they thought that this task was for excellent students, and 90% of the children completed it, so it is obvious that it goes into the category of triples. I greatly simplify the situation, this is a whole science and theory, but I tried to tell the meaning. Universities with USE scores have two problems. The first is the borders of the “troika”. The beneficiary person received a “troika”. The university, of course, does not want to be filled only with children with benefits. Universities last year tried to play: if you are disabled, then you have a triple of 50 points, and if not, then 40 points. This is a violation of the law, and we are punishing these universities. The second is the boundaries of the “five”. If I set a low limit of the “five”, then I will have a competition among the medalists, and if I pull, I won’t have any medalists at all. And the Unified State Examination showed that 80% of the children who went to the medals actually have the relevant knowledge, these are strong girls and boys. We give universities the following hint: we write how many children scored from 90 to 100 points, this is only a few thousand in Russia - the elite.

- Is it possible to retake the Unified State Exam?

You cannot retake the exam on the basis of an unsatisfactory grade. But the result obtained at the exam will not haunt you all your life. The validity period of the USE certificate is determined until December 31 of the current year, so you will be able to take the entrance exams again next year in the form in which they are conducted by the chosen university.

- Is it possible to refuse to take the exam?

It depends on the rules that are adopted in the subjects of the Federation. For example, in Moscow it is purely voluntary, but in St. Petersburg for the third year there has been no voluntariness, everyone there takes the Unified State Examination in the Russian language.

- What to do if a student falls ill on the day of the exam?

There is a reserve day. If a person gets sick on a reserve day, then he may not take the exam at all, but the exam in the traditional form. We do not accept any sanctions against those who want to run away from the Unified State Examination under the pretext of illness.

USE schedule in Moscow

WHAT'S IN THE CERTIFICATE?

With a difference between the annual mark and the USE mark of one point, a higher one is put in the certificate. If the difference between them is more than one point, the arithmetic mean is calculated between them - this is the final grade. In this case, rounding is performed towards a higher score. If a graduate passes a written exam in Russian language and literature and the Unified State Examination in Russian, then the final mark in the language certificate is set as the arithmetic average of all three marks (annual in Russian, exam and marks for a written exam in Russian language and literature). When rounding, the fractional part is discarded if it is less than 0.5, and rounding up is performed if the fractional part is greater than or equal to 0.5.

In the event that a graduate passes a written exam in the Russian language and literature in the form of an essay (exposition) and an exam in literature in the form of the Unified State Examination, the final mark in the certificate in literature is set as the arithmetic mean of the annual mark in literature, the marks in literature obtained from the results of the written exam in Russian language and literature, and marks for the unified state exam in literature. When rounding the arithmetic mean final mark in literature, the fractional part is discarded if it is less than 0.5, and rounding is performed towards a higher score if the fractional part is greater than or equal to 0.5.

NEWS

For Muscovites, this is no longer news - the capital's universities accept exams in history only in the form of the Unified State Examination.

Research conducted in Tomsk revealed that the pulse, pressure, etc. during the Unified State Examination are comparable to those in regular exams. Don't worry!

An expert council has been created at the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements of Rosobrnadzor, which will monitor the quality teaching aids on the exam and give them a special stamp. Educational materials without a stamp, FIPI are outlawed.

REMEMBER!

Hundreds of test cases have been prepared. When they are distributed, time zones are taken into account. Call friends on Far East and asking for answers is useless, you will have a different set of tests.

They promise to make the USE mandatory for everyone in 2008.

By 2010 USE year even ninth graders will take it. With the results of these tests, it will be possible to enter colleges.

DO NOT FORGET!

Take a passport, a black gel pen, as well as a pass filled in and registered by the head of the educational institution for the exam.

At the same time you can grab:

For physics - a non-programmable calculator,

For chemistry - a non-programmable calculator, the periodic table, tables of the solubility of salts, acids and bases in water and the electrochemical series of metal voltages.

All other materials are prohibited.
